This was for my elderly mother. Being able to program six (6) rings was very helpful for her to answer before sent to voicemail…..

  • NOT multiple lines
Nice equipment with easy setup BUT this is not a truly "multiple lines" phone. Misleading description makes you think you can have two phone lines connected, but they seem to be referring to the fact that you can blue tooth a cell phone to it. Deciding whether to return it.

  • AT&T PHONE IS JUNK!!
I purchased this phone thinking that it was the end of all of my spam/junk calls. First of all in order for calls not to get blocked you have to put them in your directory. Sounds easy enough, NOT!!!!!. Think about it. How many people do you know?, does that include you Doctors, Attorneys, Hospitals, long lost friends? That’s not all. My brother was definitely on the list and his calls were always BLOCKED!!! No explanation, no press #1 to be connected, nothing just stated your call is blocked, GOOD BYE. I lived with that for four months and then the phone stopped working. I was on my cell phone with my supplier for two hours while I still had internet service, wi-fi and television only for them to run all sorts of tests to tell me that my phone connection was fine and that it was my telephone. I had no dial tone whatsoever so using my cell I called the company that covered my telephone with a four year extended warranty. Nope, only when the manufacturers warranty is over. I called them and they said that they had to verify that it was in fact the telephone and not the phone line. They asked me if I had another telephone to plug in like and old tone or pulse phone and my response was that I didn’t have one of those for years. Then they asked me to bring my unit over to a neighbor and plug it in there. Sorry, but defective is defective and this AT&T phone was JUNK!!! I am a 72 year old disabled person and enough is enough. I will NEVER PURCHASE an AT&T product again and sorry Amazon, it’s off to a Brick & Mortar store I go. ... show more

  • Robo call killer
For my hard wire landline, I used to use a Panasonic Cordless phone system. It had call blocking, but you had to enter the call you wanted to block, and it only blocked up to 250 calls. The AT&T system can do that also, although that isn't the feature I use. Instead, I programed it so that every call is screened. If the call is in my phone directory, or has the caller name on my exceptions list, it goes straight thru. If the system does not recognize the name, then it tells the caller to press # to continue. If the caller presses #, the call goes thru and you can either answer it, or let it ring and take messages. Calls on an auto dialer, don't have anyone there to press #, so the call is discarded, and my phone never rings for this type of call. It records all calls so even if it doesn't ring, there is still a record of the call. If you have a persistent caller that always gets through, you can put them on a blocked list but personally, that hasn't been a problem for me. I like it because I don't have to keep clearing a blocked list. The audio part is pretty good which is nice since I'm hard of hearing. Things that could be better: the handset is harder to read than the Panasonic, and because it does a lot, it wasn't as easy to figure out how to program (could be fixed by better instructions). To start, just follow the voice guided set up. It's super easy and your phone will be immediately operational. Then study the instructions and figure out how you want to customize the configuration. I'm very satisified with this phone system. ... show more

I love these house phones and the fact that they wasn't any higher than a regular phone. Now those pesky calls are screened and I don't have to deal with the scam calls.
