    • Killer gaming laptop! Screen isn’t true to color but it’s easily overlooked.
This is my first gaming laptop ever. First gaming PC. I’m a life long console gamer. This runs damn near everything I can throw at it on ultra settings and runs it SMOOTH. I also recently started gaming on VR with my Quest 2 with airlink and you can tell it does seem to struggle SOMETIMES but I think that’s mostly the headset. If I look at the screen on my laptop it’s butter. So I guess that’s not really a fair critique. All in all, yeah this is kinda price at like $1300. I got it for around that much but I think it was on a slight sale. I think the major gripes are that the screen isn’t true to color. It’s a little on the muted side but it’s not noticeable unless you come from something to compare it directly. Also, I wish the keypad was a little more defined in the buttons rather than just flat keys all over. Maybe some concave of something but I’m literally nitpicking at this point. I love my laptop. It’s killer. Oh, also I wish I had more storage space. 500gb fills up QUICK. Especially most games I play are around 50-110gb in size. Easily fixable with external storage but I think they make an internal upgrade. Like I said, if you want something to run modern games on ultra and high settings, this is it. Forza horizon 5, Conan exiles (runs like a DREAM), fallout 4, ghost recon breakpoint, assassins creed origins etc. very happy with my purchase. ... show more

As my title says I will be honest and as a geek somewhat I feel guilty it has taken me this long to review this laptop. I've used this laptop a little over a year and let me tell you for the price I feel it's the best one out there. I use alot and when I say alot I mean ALOTTTTT of programs at once and it has never failed me. I play games like League of Legends on the highest pristine settings and I get next to no lag in team fights. When palworld just came out guess who beta tested it on this laptop and I didn't have any drop in frame rate like my colleagues. It is my day to day laptop and when you shift it in turbo mode let me tell you streaming gaming and listening to music will have the fans blasting out all the heat in no time. Battery life is alright not the longest but then again my backlight is on high even when I don't need it. I wished the aura creator could make you change more settings because I wanted it to sync with my room however that could be my fault because I haven't dedicated any time to sort it. This is pretty good, but if you’re silly and let it get too hot the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi part gets damaged. Whoops.

    • I'm in love with this laptop!
I've used it for over a month now and I can say this is an excellent machine, I play games on a daily basis and it usually stays around 65C when gaming, that is in a very warm city, with no AC (with AC it stays at 50C tops) which was surprising to me as gaming laptops get hot rather quickly, the keyboard feels great, it literally runs everything I've tried and I have no complaints to be honest I'm extremely happy with my purchase! ... show more

Not that I've had the best, but this is the best computer I've ever owned. It's zippy, never misses a beat and very quiet. All the Games I'VE played were at least on high quality. So far everything is great. I'm gunna get another 16 gb RAM stick and that's it.

    • Waste of money/motherboard problem after 1 year
I purchased this laptop for over $1200 on April 2022. When I first received the laptop I was really happy with it and it did function good . I used it for work and studies BUT WAS NOT EVEN USED ON DAILY BASIS!!! SUDDENLY 2 MONTHS AFTER 1 YEAR WARRANTY EXPIRES THE LAPTOP DOES NOT WANT TO POWER ON OR FUNCTION ANYMORE AND HAS AN ISSUE WITH THE MOTHERBOARD!!! I CONTACTED AMAZON TO HELP ME IN ANYWAY AND SPENT HOURS WITH THEM AND THEY DID NOT HELP IN ANYWAY EXCEPT THAT THEY DISAPPOINTED ME AND DID NOT CARE TO FIND A SOLUTION. I ALSO CONTACTED ASUS WHICH THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS EVEN WORSE AND NO LUCK. SO I WAS ROBBED OF OVER $1200 , DIDN'T GET THE WORTH OF THE LAPTOP IN ANYWAY, ONLY GOT DISAPPOINTED AT THE END AND REGRET. I wouldn't recommend buying this laptop because FYI I did not find ANY motherboards for this laptop online or anyway possible to try and get it fixed on my own, this is because this "Asus Tuf Gaming F17" isn't even known or popular. So even trying to fix it yourself will have no luck and a problem if Amazon and Asus leave you hanging. Fast laptop, but doesn't like my Bluetooth devices and the fan can be a little loud at times, and occasionally I have to go to the system bios just to enable wifi, weird. However, the speed is worth the price!.
