  • Runs like a dream
Capacity: 8GB LPDDR5 | 512GB PCIe SSD
Computer was easy to set up. For the money I couldn't ask for a better computer for our team members. I work for a non-profit and this computer fit our budget and technical specs for our agents in the field. Great screen and layout,

  • Broken multiple times in SO many ways.
Capacity: 8GB LPDDR5 | 512GB PCIe SSD
I've always liked Asus, but this laptop was a COMPLETE waste of money. I got it as a Christmas gift for my husband about two years ago, and it's been an absolute pain since day 1. Right out of the box, the HDMI didn't work, wifi couldn't connect, the brightness was stuck on max with no way to change it (literally, the brightness slider was completely missing), it could barely run Chrome even with no other programs open, and the RAM was constantly maxing out for no reason. I tried a BUNCH of fixes and eventually got it functional (still slow and laggy, but it worked well enough for my husband to work on), only for all of the problems to return a few months later. We then caved and sent it in to Asus for repairs or replacement. After getting it back it worked again, but was still slow. Fine, whatever, he just needs to run his work programs on it. Now all the issues are back again. I'm seriously dissappointed in the lack of quality for the price. I know tech can have rare issues which is why I gave it the benefit of the doubt and sent it in for repairs, but the fact that it just keeps breaking has made me lose all faith in it. It seemed like a perfect laptop for my husband's needs, but instead we've been stuck with an absolute pain in the neck for two years. We're finally giving up and replacing it. Save yourself the headache and just get something else. ... show more

  • 8GB of RAM runs out all the time, and not expandable
Capacity: 8GB LPDDR5 | 512GB PCIe SSD
The laptop is good and it build quality too. However, 8GB of RAM (with only 5,75GB available), keeps running out of memory all the time. I'm totally frustrated by it and I regret having bought this laptop. It's not possible to expand the RAM, and that a killer for me.

  • Crappyspacebarruinsotherwisegreatlaptop
Capacity: 8GB LPDDR5 | 512GB PCIe SSD
It is almost impossible to type using this laptop. The space bar requires so much intentional and unnatural force, it ruins the entire (otherwise awesome) laptop. Absolutely would not buy again.

  • Complete failure
Capacity: 8GB LPDDR5 | 512GB PCIe SSD
I purchased this laptop computer on 3/22/23 and now it's worthless. I had a computer tech check it out. He said it has completely lost network access. The price I paid for this computer I would think it would last more than 15 months. Very disappointed.

  • Great but Burning thru Bass Speakers
Capacity: 8GB LPDDR5 | 512GB PCIe SSD
This has been my most favorite laptop because it has an all aluminum casing. I watch YouTube most of the night and my dogs have been know to slide the computer off the side of the bed and I know the casing has saved it many times. The problems have been where the power plug no longer charges the computer unless you plug it up and set the computer on its side pressing on the power cord connector. Otherwise it no longer charges and I have trued 3 new adapters. The second thing is it has blown the low range bass speakers twice. The second time I replaced them, they did not ever last a week. It costs $60 with shipping to get new speakers. That is why I bought a new ASUS ROG STRIX 16". It is ok but I like this one better. So far, the sound is superior on the new computer but everything else is about the same. Ever the speed is the same. I do like the 17" screen vs the 16" screen. I may buy a refurbished ASUS Zenbook Pro17 and keep the new computer as a backup. Tired of buying speakers. At this rate, I could buy another computer. Very sad. ... show more

  • 8G RAM CAN'T be upgraded
Capacity: 8GB LPDDR5 | 512GB PCIe SSD
Why did ASUS decide to solder in their ram and get rid of their 2nd hard drive bay? If you buy this, you can do NOTHING to upgrade it. I didn't realize that I couldn't buy another 8G of RAM to upgrade it...Freezes/staggers on games.
