Description

Zenbook 13 heralds a new era of Ultra portable Design, with an ultra compact, ultralight chassis. Featuring the four-sided NanoEdge display with Touch option, Zenbook 13 is 14% smaller than the previous generation Zenbook 13 (UX331) and weighs only 2.8 lbs. The new screen Pad 2.0 upgrades the traditional laptop experience, adding an interactive secondary touchscreen that enhances your productivity and gives you endless possibilities. Its intuitive smartphone-like interface lets you easily manage tasks and create your own seamless multitasking workflow. There's a series of handy Asus utility apps to boost productivity, including quick key — for one-tap automation of complex keyboard sequences — along with handwriting, number key, doc Xpert, slide Xpert and sheet Xpert. Screen Pad 2.0 intelligently fits many apps into the 5.65-Inch touchscreen, and you can effortlessly add apps to screen Pad for instant access. The newly-optimized screen Pad experience ensures that your favorite apps, such as ever note and spotty, will work perfectly on this secondary display right away, without the need for a screen pad-specific version. Asus also works closely with third party developers, including video-editing software developer Corel, to optimize Adaptive screen Pad tools for the ultimate productivity — and there's much more to come. The actual transfer speed of USB 3.0, 3.1 (Gen 1 and 2), and/or Type-C will vary depending on many factors, including the processing speed of the host device, file attributes and other factors related to system configuration and your operating environment.

  • Love this little laptop!
Style: RTX 3070 Ti
I am a college student studying business and was looking for a laptop that could handle a lot of online time. My classes are all online. I stumbled across this laptop during my search on Amazon Prime Day. I loved that I could make payments and decided to give it a try. I am very happy with this laptop! I've had it since October now and have been using it heavily since December. I have not had any issues with it. The processing core is fast, the screen quality is great. I saw a lot of complaints about the touch screen pad so I decided to get a wireless mouse instead of using the touch screen screen pad. I've used it lightly but don't like using it often. It's small, I recommend purchasing a wireless mouse to go with it. However, I do love that I can put apps on that screen instead of having them take up a ton of space on the desktop. I've mostly used this laptop for school and light gaming. It does get warm, but cools itself down easily and quickly. I've been able to have multiple apps and screens open simultaneously and it works just fine. It is a small computer, only being a 13 inch screen. I have small hands so the small keyboard is just fine for me, it actually makes typing papers easier for me. I can see though, how such a small keypad could be difficult for people with big hands. Being such a small laptop, it is super easy to carry around and transport. The battery run time has worked just fine for me, working on it heavily it lasts about 4-5 hours with schooling, for gaming the battery run time is about 2-3 hours. That may be short for some people, but that's perfect for me. When it starts to run low I just plug in the charger and it charges very fast. I love the Intel I7 core. The program/processing system is user friendly. I highly recommend this laptop if you're looking for a laptop for schooling/business. If you're looking for a gaming laptop, I would recommend looking for something bigger. ... show more

  • Excellent choice for advanced users and developers
Style: RTX 3070 Ti
This is one of the few laptops with a second display, which can be used to view sample code or important information while developing software or working on writing assignments or homework. You can leave your word assignment open on the screenpad and browse with the main display. It has some connectivity issues with wifi where you need to use the included ethernet dongle that comes with the laptop or you're out of luck, so it can directly connect to the router to update or download your router drivers. The screenpad has a bit of a learning curve to it and needs to be updated, and the settings have to be adjusted for it to work properly. I have the 10th gen i7 13 inch ux334f with nvidia graphics 16 gig ram and 500 gigs SSD which is perfect mix for modern tasks. It's smaller and tough design makes it great for every day carry and is sleek enough to sneak between books in its included case and doesn't look disruptive in a class environment. I also have multiple secondary storage devices that I can easily switch between to free up, transfer or supplement memory. Once you figure it out you can get pretty fast at switching between the touchpad and main display and using it to launch your favorite apps. It works best with a connected lightweight jellycomb bluetooth keyboard and mouse which you can score for about 15$ for on the go work but you would still need a full USB keyboard and mouse for gaming. I have waited years to buy a laptop, and I haven't been disappointed so far. Perfect if you have a desktop and you need to take work with you and have the capability to work and bypass technical failures of other devices on the go. I have had it for about 3 months. It is exactly what I was looking for as a back up and supplement workhorse middle ground between a phone and a desktop that is much snappier than my other 2 desktops for overall browsing and app usage, however it will overheat if you run the graphics too hard gaming in CSGO SC2 or newer titles and the battery will die relatively quickly with intense usage or if you leave it on or forget to charge. ... show more

  • Its a great little package but the new Macbook Air might give it a run for its money.
Style: RTX 3070 Ti
Got the 13.3 inch i7, 512gb SSD, 16 gb RAM. I've had it for almost a year now. It has an excellent build quality. The laptop itself is quite rigid and looks amazing. The aluninium frame feels premium. The screen quality is also quite good and bright. The i7 although overkill for my use ,its fast and haven't had any problems with it. I've used the laptop for browsing (which the 16gb ram handles chrome tabs effortlessly), light DJing using rekordbox software and even light gaming (League of Legends, Red Alert Remastered). You do hear the fan or coil when you do more demanding tasks but it all works just fine (a bit of jitter when using the Rekordbox but I had an accident with the laptop see below, that might be the fault). The port selection is quite good for this size, 2 USB A 3.0, 1 USB C (not thunderbolt ), 1 HDMI full size, 3.5 mm double jack. No ethernet port but they provide a usb A adapter to ethernet so thats good. I have the following slight bad comments about it. The screen size is 13.3 but the body is not of a standard 13 inch laptop. Its smaller (the bezels on this laptop are very small hence why). Having to work from home I found it a bit difficult to work on such a small laptop - I had to use an additional monitor. The webcam (as for most laptops) is useless, you are better off using your phone/tablet. The Screenpad was very useless at the beginning; its been updated has some more features but I mostly have it turned off and using it as a normal mouse. You could use it for things like spotify control, however the Spotify app its the same app at a smaller screen size, so hitting the required buttons is kinda difficult. I wish they could have a scaled down version which would be easier to use in a smaller screen. Also while typing I found myself touching the screen pad and pausing the music or changing it so it is kinda flimsy. I did not find another use for it yet; don't know if the new screenpad has any other use. The weird size makes it difficult to find a sleave for it, the one provided is not very nice but it gets the job done. I should note that I've spilled a glass of water on the laptop and it died on me; send it for repairs and surprisingly it got fixed but there are some issues with it now so its not fair to judge it anymore. Consider this review happened before the spill. Battery life is okay could be a bit better , but I am not complaining. However at this price, I would now consider the M1 Macbook Air , which on paper is a lot worse, but the new M1 chips apparently make up for it in CPU/GPU performance, and the bigger chassis and battery life could be a better option .If you are looking for a windows laptop which is easy to carry, good build quality and looks nice, this is not a bad option. ... show more
