After 5 years of using this computer I am delighted of its performance. I have used it throughout my university years from programming, video editing, music production, gaming, and 3D modeling it has done it all. The screen isn't too bright and the touchpad always gave me problems but I just used a second monitor and a mouse to balance it out. The outside does scratch easily and I just covered it up with stickers. Overall the build quality isn't that great but the performance is outstanding. If you don't care much about how it looks but how it performs then this is your computer. As a computer Engineering student, this computer has handled everything that I made.

I'm writing this on this very same laptop 3 years later, and it's done a lot of cool stuff for me in the meantime. Don't expect it to run the latest games. And don't expect to run the games it can run on anything but Med/Low settings. And give it some room to breathe underneath, the fan isn't the best, and it vents underneath... But yeah i've only had to replace the paste just recently. Overall was worth it.

Having set up quite a few computers over the years, I was dreading this one since it seamed that as the years went by, more and more bloatware was being installed which takes a long time to clean out and have a relatively clean install. I was surprised that this install was relatively clean! The usual MS, Google, Security, Updates, and other essentials were pretty straight forward to set up. After about two days, everything was running smoothly and no further problems have occurred. I would, and have recommended this laptop to others. It's fast, has a good screen, and does everything I need a computer for.

Just got my new laptop in today, and I'm so happy with it! Runs great, navigates quickly, and the picture quality and sound are what I needed. I like that there are different settings for whatever you're doing (gaming, movies, music, etc.), and once you figure out how to use those built in Asus features you'll love this laptop.... especially for the price point! Oh, and I'm super excited that I can upgrade this for more memory and customize it more as I go.

The media could not be loaded. Its pretty decent so far. I love it at moment. Would have love to have a backlit keyboard. Otherwise from that its great for speed and much more. You should buy it !!!!

I bought this laptop because of online school because of Covid-19. I teach and run the Google Classroom platform. This laptop more than met the expectations. Performed great while I ran the platform, shared screen, ran multiple applications while teaching. No problem. Everything ran smoothly and quickly. The only issue I had was that it was advertised as a backlit keyboard which it is not. The keys can prove to be a problem because the letters are not very clear in low lighting. This is why I gave it 4 stars. But value for money, this is a great buy.

I purchased this laptop to be my laptop for my second job, as a way of avoiding "crossing streams" with my 9-5 day job. I've found that while typically useful, it has far more connectivity issues/lag than my day-to-day laptop, even when performing routine tasks. I haven't tried to play games with it, but given the difficulty it's experiencing with accessing the internet in a meaningful way, I would look elsewhere before jumping making the attempt.
