Great screen and performance
CPU: Ryzen 7 6800H RAM Size: 16 GB Hard Disk Size: 1 TB Graphics Description: RTX 3050
This ASUS Vivobook replaces my earlier ASUS Zenbook Pro. Although its just a laptop without touch screen, it has all the right power for my everyday needs and occasional gaming and using 3 QHD screens on my desk. Works flawlessly. Once you run the MyAsus app, it should download the right and latest drivers for your laptop PLUS you should download AMD chipset Software from AMD before you begin using it for all the right stuff to give you an amazing experience. I love it and highly recommend it for anybody who's looking for a laptop without a touchscreen. Second, it comes with M2. PCIe V3.0 Samsung storage and I replaced it with Crucial M2. PCIe V4.0 storage. Works amazingly faster than with the stock SSD. Highly recommend this laptop. ... show more

This has been a mistake
CPU: Ryzen 7 6800H RAM Size: 16 GB Hard Disk Size: 1 TB Graphics Description: RTX 3050
Buying this has been a huge mistake, for me. This laptop, while it looks good on paper, has failed to deliver. I have used Macbooks for years, and I thought I would give a Windows laptop a try this time, because I wanted to do some gaming on the go, and WSL and ASL seemed interesting to me. I knew that the fit and finish wouldn't be as good as a Macbook, but I thought that it would probably be good enough. I have a Windows 10 desktop that I use for gaming, so I thought that the switch to a laptop as a daily driver would be do-able. After two months of trying to make it work, I am giving up: I hate it. First off, the build quality is not great. It feels cheap. The keyboard squeaks and flexes when you type on it. The trackpad sensitivity is finicky. The screen, which I thought would be one of the highlights, is not that great. The color is too pumped up, artificially so, even when trying to tune it with the ASUS software. The glossy screen has SO much glare. Macbook screens are also glossy (it's almost impossible to find a matte screen these days), but this one is much worse. It's hard to find an angle that it won't reflect back in a distracting way. The screen hinge also does not feel very sturdy. If you bump the table it's on, it will flop around. Those are just the hardware issues. On to the software. Windows 11, to be blunt, sucks. It finds a way to cram even more marketing into it, and takes away more control. I can't customize the taskbar size anymore. More spammy notifications than ever. Constantly having to look at the privacy settings after every update to see if they sneakily turned on new privacy-invading features. Now, the real piece de la resistance. It has started crashing on me regularly. I have all the drivers updated. I have all the system software updated. It will still randomly lock up on me and reboot. Not even a bluescreen, just surprise! Reboot time. ASUS support is braindead, just reading off a script. They might as well be AI bots. Who knows if sending this thing in for "repair" will actually fix anything. My biggest regret, behind making this purchase in the first place, was not returning it as soon as I first unpacked it. I thought I could make it work, but I was wrong. What a mistake. ... show more

Eh.. not good for a new laptop
CPU: Ryzen 7 6800H RAM Size: 16 GB Hard Disk Size: 1 TB Graphics Description: RTX 3050
Tons of bloat wear. Maxes out the cpu usage and the speakers would crackle without even playing anything with sound.

It's a great laptop, perfect for play, work and study. The screen is gorgeous, but be aware you have to take some cares on Oled displays, anyway it wort it. The only bad side is: in my unit I'm getting a buzz (static) sound from speakers for 1-3s when high loads randomly (very rarely), and I don't know why? and it's not the driver. Not big deal. ... show more

Pensaras que si vale la pena una laptop tan pequeña? la respuesta corta es definitivamente, no sabes lo que no tienes hasta que lo tienes, su pantalla Oled es lo mejor que puedes experimentar en laptops. Worst laptop I've ever owned
CPU: Ryzen 7 6800H RAM Size: 16 GB Hard Disk Size: 1 TB Graphics Description: RTX 3050
This is hands down the worst laptop I've ever owned. For $1000+ you would think that Asus could create a decent product but no. From the start it's been laggy. There seems to be an issue with the integrated graphics (AMD) and the graphics chip (Nvidia) conflicting which causes weird flickers and lag. Aside from that, Windows runs terribly on this laptop. Opening any windows application like the calculator for example takes like 15 seconds. and thats not even the worst part. Since the beginning this laptop has had weird random problems about every other day. Sometimes the lock screen just shows all black, sometimes the wifi chip inside just turns off and wont turn back on. Half of my time is figuring out solutions to the various problems this thing has on a day to day basis. It's finally gotten so bad that everything crashes and I can't even use the laptop. I am writing this from my 8 year old Razer blade which surprisingly runs faster than the Zenbook did even when it was brand new. Terrible product. Would not recommend to anyone. ... show more
