It's a high performance pc with a long lasting battery, even on high brightness. The backlight keyboard has an adjustable brightness and the feel of the build material is of premium quality. The Speakers are at the bottom and become much louder when the laptop is placed on a flat surface such as a table. The screen quality is actually better than I anticipated, its UHD screen displays very bright and vibrant colours and the viewing angles are amazing! I also love the thin bezels. No lie, It literally takes 15 to 25 seconds to fully boot up into the desktop and the windows 11 upgrade makes the experience much more sweeter. For those who are interested in a few minute details: The 8gb ram only occupies one slot and leaves another free to upgrade. The integrated GPU has 500mb dedicated ram and shares some more memory with the motherboard ram. The web cam has a max of 0.3mp quality from what I have seen. The one major drawback for me is that the keyboard layout does not have 'play/pause, next and prev.' hot keys and you would have move to the media playing app manually to do those things. But overall, It is a great purchase for it's price range. As a disclaimer, I' am not a professional at evaluating computers. All my knowledge in the area is self taught! I’m a musician that streams on twitch and I need an affordable option that could have the resources necessary to not bogged down while I’m playing live. A colleague recommended this laptop for me and aside from only having a gig of RAM it has another slot where I bought a 16 gig of RAM and added it and it’s just been bombproof. I’ve been really happy with it the only thing I wish it had was a back light but other than that it’s very fast and very impressed with the quality and there wasn’t too much bloatware that I had to remove. It has a nice typing surface the screen is nice and bright and easy to read and it’s amazingly fast for me considering the last laptop I had was back in 2014. Usually I get Lenovo ThinkPad‘s but they were just too expensive I can highly recommend Asus as a possible option for someone looking for an affordable laptop that they can upgrade. ... show more

After 2 Acers that lasted only 2 years each I decided to try an Asus. It lasted 6 years but started to slow up. I decided to replace it and obviously went with Asus again. This laptop is very fast. It completely boots up in seconds. It was great to get a Ryzen 7 processor at this price. Hopefully I will get 6 years out of it like my last Asus. ... show more
