This is a very good computer. It's fast and has enough RAM to work big projects. Unfortunately, their customer service is lacking. The machine arrived in good condition but the #2 monitor port would not work. I went through all the steps...changing monitors, changing cables, etc. but nothing worked. I called ASUS support and had a really nice person run me through a number of the same changes but to no avail. They transferred me to another support person, who asked me the same questions and ran me through the same changes...nothing. So then they said they would elevate this claim to the "upper level" support team and I should get a call within 24 hours. 6 days later, still no call. So then I called them back and they ran me through another set of 'reboots', but to no avail. Then the tech wanted me to return it to ASUS so they could run some test. I use the computer for business every weekday so sending it back (10-days to 2 weeks...yikes!) was just not in the cards. I asked if they would send me a new video board and i would send the old one back. He stated thats not the way the warranty works and then suggest I return it to the place of purchase. So.....................I sent it back to Amazon. A+ for Amazon and D- for ASUS support. It just should not be that hard to get a $1,000 pc fixed. Hope this helps. ... show more

    • only redeeming quality is that it's an Asus
This seems more like a laptop in a tower case. There doesn't seem to be any connection if you want to add a dvd drive which it doesn't have. The power supply probably won't handle a hard drive even if there were connectors for one. This is my third Asus over the last 24 years and I was a little disappointed when I looked inside, especially considering the price. I came close to returning it, But it is an Asus, so I have hopes that it will last like the others. They actually still work fine, just outdated. I'll just have to get used to using external devices. ... show more
