I have had no issues with VRAM being eaten up to the point of diminished performance, and most of the time the fans on the damn card aren't even running! Power levels under load stay near 200W, and noise levels are just fine. To the people who constantly say you need way more than 12GB of VRAM, that may be true gaming at 4K; but this isn't the flagship 4K card of this generation. If you want to game at 4k with more than double the FPS, get the 4080 or 4090! For the rest of us at QHD and FHD, this is the card you want! This is the first true gaming card I have purchased in a decade. So glad I got it and at the time I got it. It is pricy, wish it wasn't so expensive, but that's the world we live in.

I've had a 2070, 3070ti, and now this 4070ti. This one runs on the lowest temp because of the deeper cooling fins just have more surface area. Runs great. I can run LLM AI stuff against this with the CUDA libraries. I'd say about 60% faster than the 3070ti. Easy swap in.

My 3080ti wasn't working the best and I needed a replacement. Turns out this is a slightly better version of the 3080ti. Also with Frame Generation. I wasn't too thrilled but what caught my eyes were the cooling. My 3080ti would be idling at 60 Celsius, the 4070ti idle would be 42. This is without any RPM. Wasn’t sure how I felt about a single port for power but the card has been performing well for a few months now on AAA games with ultra settings and it shreds on anything lower. It’s pretty quiet with my case and it doesn’t get too hot. Overal can’t complain about anything for now.

Great graphics card, came well packaged. however, the poor wire management was very disappointing and I debated about returning it for another one. You can see the cable bowing out below the second and third fan. Thankfully I work on electronics and am comfortable taking them apart because without that it would not have slotted into my motherboard. For $860 I would expect not to have to partially disassemble and move the cables around to be flush enough to slot so shame on their quality assurance department. I wish i specifically took a picture of it for a good before and after but I was so distracted on trying to fix it that it didn’t cross my mind. overall I am happy with my purchase but just be mindful of those two wire bundles if you purchase this for a build that will take some time. ... show more
