    • Great performance and features!
I upgraded to this card from a 3070ti. The 3070ti gave excellent 1440p performance, but i was starting to see that it was becoming limited by it's 8gb of VRAM (a consistent problem with NVIDIA). The performance uplift from the 4070 Super has been significant, and it comes with 12GB of Vram which should offer peace of mind for several years so long as I stay at 1440p resolution. Although 16GB of Vram would've been better, I also take comfort that I am able to take advantage of the newest and most current Nvidia tech currently available (Raytracing, DLSS, Frame Gen). When the opportunity presents itself i do like to turn on additional eye candy graphical effects and the 4070 Super has is able to do that with performance to spare. There is a lot of back and forth about the viability of Frame Generation. I have played it in a handful of games (Starfield, First Descendant, Cyberpunk, Plague Tale Requiem) and the technology has been truly impressive! Maybe I'm not as sensitive to input latency as others, but to me any additional input lag that may have been added was indiscernible to me while playing these single player games. I would never go to the trouble of enabling for competitive multiplayer gaming. This 3 fan card also runs especially cool and quiet, with absolutely no coil whine. It is also much more power efficient than what the 3070ti did. As it stands, i felt that this card is a much better value, and I don't have buyers remorse. It's a more powerful, feature rich, cooler, quieter and more power efficient card that I hope will serve it's purpose for several years to come! ... show more

I believe it is the greatest GPU on the market, balanced for gaming and ordinary tasks. If you are not an elite or professional gamer and are very casual like me it is the greatest option on the market. Runs great on games such as VALORANT, Fortnite, ETC, although I am not too sure on more graphic based games. Just make sure to get a good enough CPU to not bandwagon. ... show more

This wasn't going to be my choice for what card to get originally, but at the time it was the only one I was looking at that I wouldn't have to wait for at least a week. So I got this one and I'm very happy with it. Fully metal shroud makes the card feel very sturdy and the temps have been great. I also like the RGB on it, it's at the right level of showy but not over the top. One thing to not discount, this comes with a GPU stand (that doubles as a screwdriver) to prevent sagging, so if you don't own one already, the extra cost for this card compared to some others helps pay for the stand. Note that the stand is really only for cases that are small or have a PSU shroud for the stand to sit on (it's magnetic). ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I can’t wait to test it out. I plugged it in and it works well. There’s absolutely no screen tearing or any other weird things, so the GPU arrived in fantastic condition. I love this beautiful GPU. It’s big, beefy and not hard to install. The 4070 Super has been incredible so far. One of the reasons I upgraded from my 2070 was how loud the fans were. With almost two weeks of using the 4070 under heavy load I havent heard the fans once. The performance difference between this and the 2070, obviously, is insane. I can play all my games max settings 2k with no problem at all. All epic settings on Overwatch capped at 240 with very few drops below. As for this ASUS version, it feels very high quality. Nice metal frame. It runs very cool. After about 5 hours straight of Dragons Dogma 2, it didnt go over 66 Celsius. No complaints at all so far. ... show more

    • I'd say 5stars but you know pricing is way too damn high-even at msrp.
its a solid card that will play a lot of games 4k @ 60fps it stays cool thanks to the 4080's heat dissipater,( my Moniter is only 60hz that wpuld be my next upgrade, gonna wait till prime day, saved over 500$ and two thirds of the prices are still more expensive. This I got at MSRP 790$ in retrospect Should have waited a month when the 4080 super came out. will I can play 60Fps in most games cyberpunk and wukong generally in the 50'fps. Ive had not meltdowns as has been reported, But I bought an MSI 750w 80+gold power supply that already has a 12vhpwr built in no extensions and made sure I plugged it in good and tight. It will self overclock to2900-3000 in many demanding games without fail. Ghost recon Breakpoint seems to be the malculprit. It'll crash everytime. And during the most windows major update Assassin's Creed Origins had problems but I read that was going around with their(Ubisoft) games. Tried again a few months later and crystal clear. The looks arent ugly but this is no strix speaking of strix you can damn near be nose and nose with most titles they used thier best chips and allowed wattage a bit higher than the 110 I can go) so beauty isnt thier major concern with this card.     • whisper quiet with great performance
I haven't purchased a game yet that would challenge a graphics card in this class, but it has performed very well. Great graphics and frame rates with games settings maxed out. I've checked temps a couple times and never seen anything alarming. Computer is hooked to TV and sits 8 feet from me and I have yet to hear any fan noise whatsoever!!
