This is a pretty damn good gaming laptop. If you're gaming on it you're definitely going to have to have it charging since the battery gets drained but I've been able to run any game smoothly and without problems with high to max settings.

Notice to all that the reseller is selling a Asus laptop that has 3rd party RAM that is not indicated on the description (32GB laptop). After 3 months of owning the computer it completely crashed and would not turn on. Amazon customer service told me to send to to the manufacturer so I did. After 2.5 months, Asus said the issue was the 3rd party RAM and removed it and sent the computer back. I now have a computer that only has 16GB of RAM and I paid for 32GB. The reseller was supposed to contact me to replace or compensate but has never reached out after 2 attempts from Amazon customer service. Amazon as well is not willing to do anything to compensate after multiple calls with their customer service. They have a reseller that is selling things that are not as advertised and they aren’t willing to do anything. I am very disappointed in this whole process and one of the worst experiences I have had with an Amazon purchase. ... show more

The performance cost of this laptop would be considered an absolute steal. You get a 12th gen i7,32gb of memory and the latest-generation RTX4070 series card. I gamed on MW2 DMZ tonight with buddies for several hours and had absolutely zero issues! Ran on high settings and didn't even use half the memory for the card. This laptop is well made and runs Helldivers 2 on ultra at 60 FPS with ease. My only complaint is that the fans are LOUD, I don't mean "those fans are kind of loud," I mean LOUD. If you don't use headphones they will completely drown out the sounds of the game. The fan also exhausts on the right side of the chassis so if you're right handed your mouse hand has constant hot air blowing on it. I would still buy this laptop again so don't let this scare you off, just be aware if you're trying to play games and others are in the room they will be disturbed. ... show more

Laptop has performed better than I expected. Able to run Cyberpunk 2077 @ 106fps on ray tracing ultra preset with frame generation turned on. Only real weak point is the screen. (1080p) But honestly 4k on a smaller screen just seems like overkill, imho. I am very happy with my purchase.
