  • Works great but has the trappings of all gaming laptops
Capacity: 32GB RAM | 1TB SSD
The media could not be loaded. What the title says. It works great, I can run phasmophobia, subnautica, etc etc on highest settings. Could almost certainly play more intensive games on slightly lower settings but I haven’t tried cause I use my desktop for those. It does get hot and the fans get loud, but this really is normal for gaming laptops. The computer is HEAVY as well so be warned. Again, it’s to be expected with the large screen and being a gaming laptop (they are always heavier) so not taking points off. Minor gripes would be like, the charging port is in the middle of the side instead of by the screen which is weird or that some of the keys get warm in the middle but honestly, not a big deal overall. It’s good if you really are looking for a gaming laptop. Not worth it for basic school/work stuff or only playing like, stardew valley or something though! ... show more

  • Inexcusable
Capacity: 64GB RAM | 4TB SSD
Daughter bought this with her money from work (she is 17 and makes min wage but saved up for this) Item would instantly bluescreen/crash on reception. Eventually Windows repair kicked in. Copy of windows was NOT Win 11 pro, key was for Win 11 home. Daughter just wanted to use her new laptop so bought a key for what she paid for ($199). Try to install updates only some complete, error after error for the main Win update. Try to install drivers, will not install them constant errors. Try SFC scan, can't repair windows. Try DISM repair, BSOD before it can finish. Try to use Windows recovery "Can't be found". Finally giving up. I'm a very tech literate person I highly suspect that on top of the corrupted files that there it a hardware issue with the GPU. I also did a full ram check (64gb is beyond overkill btw) ram was clean. Used crystal disk to check NVME also was in good condition. Recommend staying away from seller for things that appear out of normal spec (64gb RAM, 4TB NVME) especially if the price seems too good to be true. ... show more

  • Death by a thousand paper cuts of defects, $300 surprise restock fee. Stay away.
Capacity: 64GB RAM | 4TB SSD
We bought 2 of these for our girls for school and Minecraft. The day we unboxed the first laptop mouse pad was janky and didn’t click properly (the 2nd one worked fine) and the 1st laptop has a bug in how it sleeps. Even after turning off the sleep settings it still sleeps and you have to reboot it everytime (the 2nd laptop doesn’t have this issue). The 2nd laptop every 5 mins of usage the screen starts flickering for 10 seconds making it unusable (and dangerous for kids to see this kind of regular flashing lights. The worst part is they charge a 10% restocking fee to return it so we are out $300 for taking a chance on asus. We got the girls MacBooks and are happier. This Asus product was death by a thousand paper cuts and a $300 restocking fee to add insult to injury, Terrible experience, will not recommend ... show more

  • As described.
Capacity: 64GB RAM | 2TB SSD
Came as described. Runs wonderfully. I actually took the copy of Windows it had off and installed Nobara Linux. Runs flawlessly. Took me a bit to disable the integrated graphics card so I could game at better than 1 frame per minute. But now that the laptop uses the dedicated GPU, gaming on steam works a treat. Couldn't be happier with my first laptop. ... show more

  • Meh.
Capacity: 64GB RAM | 2TB SSD
The gaming power is great, it has the capacity to run everything in my library. However, after 4hrs of Witchfire, -even with a cooling pad-, I run into overheating issues. It started as B&W flickers. Took awhile for it to cool down and cease. I decided to update my drivers, just in case, and the picture was the result. So I'm stuck behind the times due to driver conflicts, and am not getting the most efficient run. I had better results with my 2020/21 F17. I didn't have overheating issues until gaming hour 8 of Forza Horizon 2 after a multi day run-time, without a cooling pad. The asus armory and other bloatware is probably the least compared to other manufacturers stuff, but it's still highly integrated and frustrating to handle. Does more harm than good. --Also, shame on the seller for mislabling the TITLE of the hardware, as not everything is true.-- Double check your specs. ... show more

  • I knew there were glitches, but...
Capacity: 64GB RAM | 2TB SSD
I did a lot of reading and watching user reviews before purchasing this laptop. But, I still bought as I've been a long time ASUS customer and, 8 times out of 10, any issues I had were resolved with system and driver updates. Yes, I experienced a few video glitches and weird startup issues. But, after a few updates, the video issues and startup issues are mostly gone. The machine is working as I was hoping it would, all games (virtual pinball) are running smooth, and the video editing and music software runs great. I took the chance on this laptop because the price was right. These are my experiences with this machine. I hope it helps. ... show more
