  • Prime time and I’m impressed
Style: Prime (Black) Size: RTX5070
Amazing upgrade from 3060 to this 5070, it was an easy install. Runs smooth and quietly, this is lighter than the 40 series cards and it’s definitely looks a lot better. The card runs cool even playing metro 2033 games, escape from Tarkov, and other high performance games. The size of this card seems to work better in bigger builds, just don’t work in a smaller cases. I see no problems with running my Ryzen 5 5600x with it. added on, the build quality on this card is jet black with prime lettering it will blend in with dark semi new or brand new motherboards. And a noticed for any new buyers, please use newer GPU power supply cords with the 16 pins or direct wiring to the PSU. Don’t use the splitter cords, not safe. I had to call costumer services for the card and make sure it was safe and run smoothly and reliable with any other cords. ... show more

  • A quantum leap from my RX 580 :Overkill today, but built for the future!
Style: Prime (Black) Size: RTX5070
I made the jump from an ancient AMD Radeon RX 580 to this RTX 5070, and honestly, I wasn't prepared for the sheer size of the upgrade. The generational gap is absolutely staggering. First off, the build quality is top notch. This card feels incredibly premium, heavy, solid, and well engineered. The cooling solution is quiet, and thermals are vastly better than my old blower-style card. It just oozes durability. In terms of raw power, this thing is a beast. I currently game at 1080p, and I'll be the first to admit this is total overkill for that resolution. I'm maxing out my refresh rate with tons of headroom to spare on every title. If you are strictly a 1080p gamer, be warned: you will be leaving performance on the table unless you plan to upgrade your monitor to 1440p or 4K. That said, I didn't buy this just for gaming. The AI performance is where this card truly shines for me. Running local LLMs and Stable Diffusion is lightning fast compared to the snail's pace of my RX 580. Video editing is equally transformative; exports and rendering times have been cut down to a fraction of what they used to be. I bought this with the mindset that it is an investment, and I am completely confident this card will be with me for several years. Whether it's future AAA game releases, heavy AI workloads, or 4K video editing, I know this card will handle everything I throw at it without breaking a sweat. If you're making a big generational leap like I did, you won't regret it. Just start budgeting for a higher-resolution monitor to match this beast! ... show more

  • Perfect pairing with a 7800X3D for 1440p comp titles
Style: Prime (Black) Size: RTX5070
I bought this ASUS SFF-Ready Prime RTX 5070 for $499 and it has been an excellent value for my use case. I am mainly a competitive gamer and have hit near top ranks in multiple titles (R6 Siege, Overwatch, and Marvel Rivals). I play at 1440p on a 27-inch monitor, with competitive settings most of the time and occasional AAA/high-end games on high or ultra. One thing I did not fully appreciate until upgrading is how important the CPU is for competitive titles. I upgraded to a Ryzen 7 7800X3D while keeping my old RX 5700 XT at first, and the biggest improvement was not raw FPS, it was smoothness: noticeably less stuttering and much better frame consistency, with only a smaller FPS bump. That upgrade made it obvious that the CPU was a major limiter for the games I play. That said, bottlenecking still exists the other way around, especially at 1440p. Even with a 7800X3D, you still need a capable GPU to take full advantage of it. For me, the RTX 5070 is the sweet spot if you mainly play competitive titles but still want the option to run AAA games at high settings. My heavier games include modded Cyberpunk 2077, GTA V, Elden Ring, and Minecraft with shaders (which can push my system hard, especially without DLSS). The 5070 handles that mix very well. I considered stepping up to a 5070 Ti, but after taxes the price increase for that tier would have been a large jump for me. Since GPUs tend to become “outdated” the fastest compared to the rest of a build, I would rather take the value tier now and upgrade again later than overspend for performance I do not consistently need. In my case, the 5070 Ti just did not make sense for the extra cost. Overclocking and tuning have been a highlight. This card has a lot of headroom. I gained roughly 10% extra performance with a simple OC (+300 MHz core, +1500 MHz VRAM). I have also tested running a lower power limit. I dropped it from 120% to 85% and, in the games I play, I have not noticed a meaningful performance difference, but it does reduce power draw. Thermals have also been good. In my testing, the GPU sits around 67°C under load. For anyone curious, I included benchmark screenshots. My results were: * 3DMark Steel Nomad: 5839 * MSI Kombustor (2560×1440): 6587 * FurMark (2560×1440): 13153 Overall, if you are primarily a competitive gamer at 1440p and want a strong value GPU that can still handle occasional AAA games at high settings, this RTX 5070 is an easy recommendation. If you are mainly an AAA/high-settings player and want maximum graphics performance per dollar at the higher tiers, you may already know you will be happier spending more on a 5070 Ti-class card. For my priorities, this 5070 was the right balance. ... show more

  • Buy this
Style: Prime (Black) Size: RTX5070
The card works great and as it should, it isn’t heavy enough to really sag so no need for a sag bracket. I will say that it’s a beautiful card and the performance and graphics on it are superb. Also this can stay REALLY cool like this was my most cooled gpu ever it’s really good. Switched here from AMD to the 5070 and I’m never going back. If anyone wanted the fps, in 1440p esports titles I get 300-400fps on max settings, and in any game you’re guaranteed 180-200fps in 1440p with the right settings. Also the new dlss is great and stable ... show more

  • Poor quality control
Style: Prime (Black) Size: RTX5070
The graphics card arrived and one of the tiny screws were not screwed in but it had a white sticker over the head of the screw. Come to find out that the insert thread for that screw was stripped which should have been caught during the quality control process. The card is not cheap and I expected it to come fully intact with no issues but other than that the graphics card is great for my uses which include UE5 and gaming. ... show more

I have successfully played several high demanding games at both 1440p and 4K resolution with this card. This ASUS SFF-Ready Prime NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 card performed very good on those games. ... show more
