    • I Now Have Speedy and Reliable WIFI!
No problems with WIFI now. Even though I am limited in where I could place this router, it seems to give us excellent coverage and speed. I have cameras, doorbell, thermostats, tablets, computers and security system running through this router. It is worth the money!

    • Garbage router...Garbage customer service.
Well where do i start. Garbage router...garbage customer service. Purchased this router installed it 6 months later, worked for 8 months and crapped out 2 months after Asus 1 year warranty. Wouldnt power up or connect to 2.4 or 5ghz, cannot access the interface because it wont register the LAN or WAN...multiple resets and nothing. Basically its a damn paperweight. Oh yea then trying to reach Asus customer service...horrable and it appears now after paying $350.00 im going to have to pay $35.00 to send it in and who knows how much to fix it...what a rip off, very disapointed with the product. When it worked it was lighting fast and flawless, but when it dosent work...yea...$200-300 paperweight...consider a different manufacture. UPDATE...decided to purchase a second one against my better judgememt...yea should have listened to my gut, the first worked for 6 months, the most recent one with a manufacture date of 2021 worked for 48hrs before the wifi crapped out just like the first...really disapointed with ASUS...$350 paper weight...im not a computer genus but i know enough to know my 10 year old router worked better than these two brand new ones...DO NOT BUY THIS. ... show more

    • Did not meet live up to expectations
I bought this router after reading consumer reviews and the makers advertised advantages and features. This was supposed to be a router that could cover a large house...our house is small to medium in sized single level and we still have issues with getting good continuous WiFi to the other side. Really disappointed that for the money spent on this router that I still have to use a signal booster. ... show more

    • Worked great for 3 years but then no tech support for problems
This was difficult to set up at first with an ATT modem, but once I got it to work it did well for a little over 3 years. And then it had access and upgrade difficulties. When you call tech support after one year you are told you get no tech support. Watch videos on asus.com, but that doesn't necessarily help. And the thing literally died after a little over 3 years. ... show more

    • Not very impressive
This item ,as with so many others, thinks the more complicated it is the neater it is. When you set it up you are prompted to change the password, not sure why it will never remember it. Any time I need to use the interface I have to use the reset button. It is hard to get a consistant signal from it. Streaming a whole movie or TV show is near impossible. Might be a good unit if you work in IT and do not mind setting it up almost any time you use it. I am of the old school when you bought something and it worked. Not impressed with being requred to pay for the game boost that was in the description. ... show more
