I had a motherboard go out and where it was an am4 amd 5950x cpu and am5 was out now I didn't want to spend a fortune on a motherboard. This motherboard suprised me with the quality for the price. The Bios is easy to navigate. All I had to do was set up the ram by selecting the XMP setting so the ram was clocking at the correct speed and timings. All the peripherals I added were easily detected and upgrading the firmware on the bios was easy and fast. Only thing I wish I had noticed was that this motherboard didn't come with a fiber optic output for the audio. It has a usb-c and regular coaxial outputs. It was my own fault for not noticing. There is another version of this motherboard (ROG 550-x that does come with the fiber optic out, but it doesnt come with the nVme Pci-e card that the ROG 550-xe version does.

La ASUS ROG Strix B550-XE Gaming WiFi me sorprendió desde la instalación: -Compatibilidad: soporte excelente para procesadores AMD Ryzen de tercera, cuarta y quinta generación. La BIOS viene actualizada, lo cual facilita mucho la instalación. -Conectividad: incluye WiFi 6, varios puertos USB, ranuras M.2 con disipadores y PCIe 4.0 para tarjetas gráficas y SSD de última generación. -Calidad de construcción: robusta y con buenos acabados, típica de la línea ROG. El diseño RGB es elegante y se puede personalizar fácilmente. -Rendimiento: muy estable incluso en overclocking. Las fases de poder aseguran buen rendimiento con procesadores de alto consumo. -Extras: tarjeta de sonido integrada de calidad y buena distribución de puertos para montaje limpio. ⚠️ A mejorar: al ser una placa de gama alta ocupa bastante espacio (formato ATX grande) y puede ser excesiva si no se aprovechan todas sus funciones.

The first board I was sent failed to boot up even after trying everything including a bios down grade and upgrade. Shipped it back and got a new one very easily. My first return I’ve done so I was pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately after hooking up the new board my power supply died…..not great timing but it’s older and I wanted to upgrade it next so it was understandable…fast forward a week later after having issues getting this one to power on with the new supply (user error my bad) I had it working great. Everything was up to speed my download times were better then ever….then came windows crashing……I was trying to upgrade everything so I could install windows 10 onto my drives and managed to get stuck in a repair loop instead, then while reinstalling windows my drive errored out or somthing and the motherboard would no longer read the drive even after confirming with a seperate computer it still worked… I took the drives out to check the coord and accidently broke the connection on my other drive which I’m currently replacing but other then that the board itself is great. I love the code reader on it being able to display the internal temp. They was a huge plus for me as my apartment gets real hot during the summer and spring months so I like to keep an eye on it and make sure I’m not overloading it. I am slightly sad that the lights in the top lave by the port hubs are farther into the board itself and not placed where it’s easier to see in the actual slots

I previously had the strip b350-F so I was happy to snag this on Black Friday for 167$ and upgrade my rig. This motherboard is compatible with 128gb of ram, so I am thrilled about that. The last one could only handle 64 and I render 3d for games and needed a LOT more ram. ROG is a very reliable quality brand and I've used them for years. I'm running an AMD rig and love how asus makes everything and compatible. Upgrading and swapping out parts has never been easier than with an AMD based pc. Also is RNG compatible and comes with it’s own software so you can make it rainbow or something more sane like a nice solid blue (which is what I did) it also has the ability to control arng plugged in devices. My heat sink now also glows blue instead of red. This mobo comes with 2 m.2 slots but the XE which I bought, comes with a pair expansion card that allows you to add an additional 4 m.2 hard drives , for all of the hard drive space you could ever desire.

This is an SLI compliant Motherboard. That was not in the description but on the Box in the picture. I just Built my System with it & used the Ryzen 7 5800 X CPU. I used AI tweak in the Bios to get it to 4.3 GHz & my Ram to 3200 MHz. My System is stable & not crashing. Games are running great with 2 MSI Geforce 1080 TI with 11 Gigs of Ram each in SLI Mode. I had to go into Network Cable settings & go to Qos Packet Scheduling & click on Configure & go to Speed & Duplex Settings & scroll down to see 2.5 Gb/s Full Duplex & set it for that. Now I'm getting the 300 Mb/s up & down Streams that I pay for. This Motherboard & all you get with it is really a great buy. Ryzen 5000 series CPU Ready.

It didn’t work, everything was choppy and it wouldn’t allow a hard drive to connect to it or the m.2 drive couldn’t connect directly to board , I hate that I wasted time waiting for this to come for it just not to work, then for me to purchase another one it’s way more expensive than the one I bought 😩, ion wanna think anything bad about the sellers so imma say maybe they didn’t know it was faulty, my experience may not be anyone else’s, I’m trying them again wish me luck , my new board is on its way , hopefully next time I can give them an AMAZING review ❤️
