Easy to install, they should put in description that is does come with a ATX to SFK conversion bracket, i'll have to send the one i bought back. All moduler plugs very easy to use, good quality. highly recommend this. This is the first time we have used an SFX-style power supply for one of our builds. It is 1000 watts and platinum-rated, so I don't know what I expected. The build was going into a Thermaltake 300 case requiring a Mini or Macro motherboard. Please keep in mind that motherboards of those sizes are actually reversed in their nomenclature. The "Micro" is a more giant board than the "Mini." It's just another thing one needs help understanding about the computer world. The case would accommodate an entire SFX power supply, but I wanted our techs to have more room to maneuver while building. That theory worked out great. With the extra room, they could store the extra wires neatly. Also, you must realize that the motherboard is rotated with the 300 (and also the other from Thermaltake) tower-style cases. The socket area used for a standard build is on the left, which becomes the back of the computer. This socket area ends up on top of the case. This then puts all the cables in a different position, too. The 24-pin cable is on the bottom, only a couple of inches from the position of the power supply. You end up with about 6-8 inches of extra cable. As I said, now we have a larger area to fold and store the extra. This PSU also has programmable RGB, which can be done by simply plugging the cable into a standard ARGB socket on your motherboard. The cables that come with the psu are great. Braided thin and very flexible. The 12vhpwr native cable worked like a charm as well. I wish they would include a 90 degree cable rather than the pcie 12v and the native 12v, but that's ok since I had to order custom cables anyways. If you are using a case in the 20l or above range you should be fine. I'm using a 15l case and had to order custom cables because these are too long to manage with what I have crammed in there. My biggest worry was noise and coil whine. I watched some reviews that suggested there was bad coil whine on these. I threw a sustained 800w load at this (1000w PSU variant) and heard 0 whine. Fan was quiet as well and follows a pretty good fan less design until a high internal temp is picked up. Regular gaming on a 4080 and 7950x the fan started once and it was at a very low rpm. The RGB is whatever. If you don't like it, just don't plug in the RGB cable to the PSU and it won't turn on. Psu itself looks great. If it's viewable from the outside, it should add rather than detract from the aesthetic. ... show more

I wish I had known this was meant for a micro-ATX case. I have a Thermaltake P3 so it's painfully obvious how crappy it looks. Firstly, there is NO lcd or led on the PSU, just holes cut out and the light from the RGB fan is what you see. I had to fabricate a bracket so the PSU is properly supported, had I know this was meant for Micro-ATX case, I'd have gone with the 1200w which was only 10 bucks more. Funny thing is, the item wasn't listed when I purchased this one, but it was the day after. I'd return it, but after seeing it would be 30 days AFTER they receive it and everyone having issues with returns and payment, I'm stuck with it. ... show more

I upgraded to an RTX 4090 in my Ssupd Meshlicious case recently and I ended up replacing the power supply with this while I was as it. I already had a 1000w power supply in the case but it wasn't ATX 3.0 and so I had to use 3 PCIe power cables for my old GPU and would have had to use 4 with the 4090 so I decided to upgrade to this so I could just use the single GPU power cable that this comes with. It works really well and cleared up a lot of space inside my case which was previously occupied by a bunch of power cables. Unfortunately ATX 3.0 is basically already a dead technology and 3.1 is the new standard because of the GPU power cable changes, so I'm not sure how long I'll end up using this before I upgrade again (the tragedy of being an early adopter sometimes) but I can't fault the power supply for that, it's just the way that things went. If anyone is looking for a small form factor ATX 3.0 PSU they can't go wrong with this, very high quality and working very well for me. ... show more

So first off it came with a discount code for cable mod, it took my $128 cable order down to $108 so that AMAZING but you don't really need it. the stock cables are AMAZING they are thin and robust and the sleeves on them are built very well. Only suggestion would be to add some cable combs. I didn't even realize this would be SFX but it came with an adapter plate so it still fit and gave me extra room to cable manage inside my case. Overall an amazing PSU that I will continue to use in the rest of my builds ... show more
