Top Amazon Reviews

  • An Excellent Pre-Built!
For the price and performance, it did not disappoint. Booted right out of the box with no issue and its super quiet. It runs most games on high and ultra settings with little to no compromise. The only complaint, that's really a nit-pick, is that the box it came in was a little ruff but nothing inside was broken. If you got the expendable income, this PC is a decent way into high-end gaming. ... show more

  • Fantastic PC
While shipping info was slower to update than I liked the PC arrived on time and in excellent condition. It booted up first time and was finished setting up in 30 mins. Only complaint was the case that was pictured was not the one that I got. It was a asus rog strix g16 case. No really complaints.

  • Retailer not recommended. Product and manufacturer satisfactory.
This product was delivered in sound physical condition; however, the Windows 11 Pro would not boot. Even though I am a retired IT professional, I was unable to get it to load the OS. Based on Amazon reviews of the seller, PCOnline US, I didn't trust them to correct the situation, and they were slow to respond to emails, anyway. I notified the seller of the issue on 7/14/24. On 7/16/24 they responded - Dear STEVE Thank you for reaching out to us. We apologize for any inconvenience this order has caused. Rest assured, for your order: ###-#######-#######, your device is still covered under the 1-year warranty provided by us with free diagnosis and repair . If you have any further questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us. I paid shipping to send it to ASUS, my choice, who quickly identified several issues: 1. The SSD, where the OS is loaded, is not a factory component or covered by ASUS warranty. 2. The memory modules are not factory components or covered by ASUS warranty. 3. The OS, Windows 11 Pro, was not properly installed. Apparently, the seller "upgraded" the system but did not disclose that in the Amazon listing details - at least not that I can find. Fortunately, there was not a hardware issue, and ASUS was able to reload it without physical repairs. To their credit, they didn't charge me for the service, even though they rightly could have. The system still boots far slower than my much older, lower spec'd, Cyberpower PC system with an ASUS motherboard. I have removed all of the ASUS-specific unnecessary applications that were loading on boot. The boot time is improved, but still slower than I would expect and slower than the older system. Slow 3rd-party SSD? I use it exclusively to run Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) and xPlane from a SSD that I added once the system was bootable. The simulators are set on their highest performance settings, and the system handles it just fine. FYI, MSFS reports the frame rate is limited to about 60 fps by the main processor, but that is sufficient for a smooth image. Also, it might improve with updated coding by Microsoft/Asobo. I'm not sure that it is really the processor. Maybe, it's just not being fully utilized properly. Bottom line, the system was a good value for the specs, but the seller's failure to disclose the hardware changes from ASUS factory components, and their reviews from many other customers on Amazon, would make me hesitate to buy from them again. I think I will stick to products direct from Amazon, and not unknown (to me) 3rd-party sellers whenever possible in the future. ... show more

  • My old computer feels like I've been living in slow motion compared to this one.
This is the nicest computer I have ever had. I'm able to play games at max settings and they look incredible! I'm not what you would call a gamer. I play FFXIV, Sea of Thieves, and The Sims 4 mainly, but with my old computer, I was facing load times so long that I would just give up and do something else. Now I don't even have time to get settled before I'm already loading in. It's great! Windows 11 is not as bad as people are making it out to be. You can turn off a lot of the annoying features during set-up or in settings. At first, I was a little disappointed that Windows 11's default desktop looks a lot like Apple, it's minimalistic and sleek, but that can be customized. ... show more

  • No DDR5, has DDR4.
Overall am satisfied but my PC came with DDR4 RAM instead of the 5. I had bought some 5's to put in it but that was a waste of time. Other than that it is a great pc. Ready to go out of the box.
