I purchased the ROG Ally Z1 Extreme from the Amazon Renewed store. Set it up and installed a 2TB NVMe. Here's my take. While removing the rear cover to install the NVMe upgrade, noticed that one screw was missing. For me not a big problem as I was going to be installing a cover anyway. I also realized that the power adapter is not the original power adapter that ships with the ROG Ally. It is a third party adapter. It works but just not the actual ROG Ally power adapter. Other than those 2 issues, no other issues found. Device is very clean, no scratches, all buttons feel very new and unused. Would I buy from Amazon Renewed again? Depends on discount and what the item is. ... show more

Needed a bit of cleaning on the edges, but other than that it is in great condition. I'm considering the battery mod and sdd upgrade. Came in plain box with packing material and a charger. So far it runs the Triple A games I wanted to play.

    • Asus\ROG, High failure rates, and refuses to Honor Warranty
Totally failed to turn on after about a month. Sent an RMA to ROG\ASUS, and they refused to honor their warranty. This was the second ASUS\ROG device I've gotten which has died. Take a look at other brands if you can!
