These monitors are amazing, I got 2 of them to pair up with my OLED display and honestly speaking I cannot tell the difference. I do a lot of coding, planning, slack and what not, I've 3-4 machines hooked up at a time so having built-in KVMS are helpful if your desk can accommodate multiple input devices for different monitors (if 2 machines per monitor let's say) but I end up using Apple's Universal Control a lot, which allows me to smoothly use all 3 machines as essentially one but on different displays (mouse & keyboard switch over as I leave the boundary of one monitor to another). All in all, I think I'm very satisfied, but also worth mentioning I got them when they were on sale around 230, but still hard to find a monitor with these many features, ports, IPS display & color accuracy + calibrated AND 96 watts usb-c PD + display within this price range unless buying used (trust me I did a lot of research and I seriously mean a lot, tink fixating for 3 weeks and that too during major holidays and sale periods). I already had their more expensive 34 inch wide ASUS ProArt monitor so I was already in love with that in my upstairs office but these ones are just equally amazing and sooo good to pair them up vertically with my main OLED monitor. Again I cannot tell the difference between my 45 inch OLED and these IPS panels (I'd say even on dark blacks) but that's also coming from someone who's not crazy about the OLED displays. ... show more

Such an improvement over my old monitor. I was having a hard time finding a middle ground between a Creative Monitor and a Gaming Monitor, since I do video editing and some design and photography, but also like to game mostly single player games but wanted at least a 100hz screen for fluidity and I found all I needed with this one. Colors look vibrant, screen feels fluid, great real estate in Premiere and After Effects, G-Sync working. Loving it so far after one month. Easy to mount, practically plug and play but with plenty of settings to tinker if you like. Defines feels premium for the money ... show more

QHD resolution is great in that I’m not doing deeply detailed photo/video editing, in which case I’d have gone with the 4K version. I really like that you can raise the monitor quite high and lower it significantly. Makes for getting to wiring and stuff in my constrained desk space (pardon the mess and cabling work in progress.) I really like the monitor’s KVM capabilities. If you have a desktop and a laptop (both Mac’s) or an iPad you can use the Link iPad or Mac functionality (2nd photo), move your mouse to whatever side the device is on, then use the Asus OSD (on-screen-display) function to press a button and get to your other device. AND continue to use your wireless keyboard and mouse on that device! ... show more

If I could give this 4.5 stars, I would. My monitor came missing cover to the OSD navigation button, so it's just a white stud sticking out, rather than a black button. I checked all packaging to see if it fell off in-transit, but was unable to find it. It's disappointing on an otherwise great professional monitor. The refresh rate is excellent, but I wish it supported DisplayPort 2+. At DP1.4, my triple-display over MST is somewhat throttled. But my setup isn't common, so I won't knock it for that. ... show more

I have been using Asus monitors since the late 1990s and have worked with plenty of them. I started with Windows and migrated to Mac, and they have gone along for the ride. But this monitor, and one other Asus I purchased recently were not up to the usual standards I expect. This particular monitor had a red biased tint that unless they still gave us 6-axis controls in the OSD, I was never going to get out. So paper white was not white, but pinkish. Yes, I do use calibration equipment, but even out of the box and just using Gains, I could not get the monitor to settle in. The red tint was there to stay. I don't run my monitors on full brightness. Ever. Also, while I wasn't trying to get the 3000:1 contrast ratio, I did achieve 1567:1 and was around 46% brightness. Had the red tint gone away, I would have kept this monitor and added to my other two on my stations. My other Asus monitor sent back had failed the uniformity test. That was also a bummer. There are many online stress tests for new monitors and I do highly recommend using on to test new equipment. ... show more
