    • BIOS update needed for 13th gen Processors...no BIOS Flashback button, but fantastic value board!!
Motherboad arrived with Version 1203 Bios, 2022/03/22. Luckily I had an i5 12400 laying around to use first to flash Bios so i can run my i5 13600K. It does have a Crash Free Bios Feature, -but unsure if that would've worked to update the bios using the 13600k at first. I'd check with Asus on that one. This board seems rock solid. Went with this because of tech Youtube channels like Hardware Unboxed, that rated this board for good VRM, heatsinks, features etc. Supported my i3-12100 out of the box and 1 month later, so far so good. BIOS is fairly user friendly. However the new LGA 1700 socket has very subtle differences for the previous generations. For some reason on my board, after placing my CPU in the socket, there was a lot of resistance putting down the latch. I had to take off the CPU cover (keep this for warranty), for the latch to hook into place. But my PC works fine. Temps seemed normal and included features were working.
