After finally getting a 30 series rtx i am very pleased. The Asus Phoenix rtx 3060 is probably the smallest 3060 available that I know of, and it isn't lacking because of it. so far i have only tried warzone and cyberpunk 2077, but compared to the 1060 3GB card i was playing those on before, the difference is night and day. also arrived in less than 24 hours after ordering, so that was a huge plus.

I bought this to replace an RX 580 8g and it's a definite upgrade, my mobo is only pcie 3x so I don't make use of the full potential but even on 3x it's a major improvement overall. AMD built in tuning allowed me to get the 580 to run nearly silently along with my low powered/silent case fans there was no sound in my room at you couldn't tell the PC was on at all unless you look for the power led. On the lowest tuning settings that will run stable the 3060 still has noticeable sound compatible to murmurs when running a moderately challenging game like warzone but something that leans on the GPU more like Warframe will have the card whirring up to about the sound of a space heater/conversation but not quite ear destroying levels like a hairdryer. Coming from a dead silent card I was annoyed that you can't lower the fan speed below 30% using driver settings or the asus tuning app. I don't like having to rely on MSI Afterburner but it is the only way to quiet the fan lower then being at a constant whisper. Graphically it works as you'd expect from watching any youtube video comparison so really the only thing to consider is if the card runs hot (nope) or if the card is the right size for you case (nearly as small as the pci slot) and if the sound levels are tolerable (quiet enough if you're patient). If you can live with 30% fan sound background noise or don't mind the risks of setting your own afterburner settings then it's a solid buy. I found it sold by amazon delivered by amazon for 50 bucks over MSRP so I'm satisfied with that markup all things considered. 9/10 would be perfect if I could get the sound under control without relying on outside apps.

Esta GPU la pillé a un precio imbatible, gracias Amazon pero tiene algo que no me ha terminado de convencer y es principalmente el ruido del ventilador de la GPU, esta GPU tiene un supuesto silent mode en el software de asus GPU Tweak pero no lo es porque sea como sea que configures la GPU el ventilador siempre estará encendido al 40% por defecto, se puede bajar al 30% que es lo mínimo pero no puedes detener el ventilador por completo incluso si la GPU está a 30 grados, es un ruido innecesario para esa temperatura, por msi afterburner tampoco puedes bajar el ventilador a menos del 30% y es algo decepcionante sobretodo en momentos de silencio como en la noche, escuchas el ventilador de igual manera aunque escuchar ruidos del PC en teoría no es tan molesto porque son sonidos suaves típicos pero el de la GPU emite un sonido áspero que llega a sobresalir del resto del ruido que emite el PC en funcionamiento y es eso lo que te llega a incomodar. El punto positivo del ventilador es que estando al 50-60% no hay ganancia perceptible en el ruido.

Exceptionally quiet and low heat with no apparent thermal throttling. It is short and will fit in small form factor cases. Mine is in a new Dell XPS 8940. It is very wide because of the cooling vents and I lost one Pcie slot as this case is quite small. I use it for regular office work as well. Don’t own a 1080p monitor but my older Dell p20” displays the images at very decent internal settings even with only 60 hz refresh rate. Newer monitor will show off the display card’s power, frame rates at 127hz
