I can't stand looking things up on my phone, so I thought a Chromebook would be nice since I'm primarily a google person. This is a great buy, feels very high quality and does everything I need it to do. I'm still getting used to the chrome OS, but it fits all of my needs. Really happy with this chromebook. I hooked up a external keyboard mouse and monitor and use it when working remotely away from home and its great. Its a little laggy but not bad. I can remote into work and do software dev and also enjoy all the other internet things I use. The battery life is fantastic. So I can grab it and move to the couch to be closer to my dad and show him things online. You will need a HDMI to usb converter to use a external monitor. And it only works on the one port on the right hand side. I also logged in with my home google account and its very much like being at home away from home. ... show more

So I bought this Chromebook shortly after my old Google Chromebook died... I'm looking through when I see Asus, "ooh, I like them!" Have lactas products for a long time, ever since I bought a little netbook back in 2008... I bought most of their phones, admittedly there's zenfone 9 was less than ideal.. But surely that was a fluke right? I like to do art... Writing, actual drawing... Things like that. I don't do that on my normal computer cuz I will completely sidetrack myself... So my old Chromebook died. This was the choice... It finally came in and I was so excited to finally get started. Oh, it comes with a mouse! I thought that was unusual, I guess I should have taken that as a red flag. By the time I had logged into my Gmail account, I had figured out that this phone doesn't have a touch screen. I haven't even tried anything beyond this, I can't believe they're still making Chromebooks like this... It blows my mind... Bad enough when I'm at work and I try to hit the screen to make something happen, and forget I have to use my mouse... Not doing that at home. ... show more

Just got this in yesterday and using it at work. We have one at our nurse's st. that I have been using for about a month and that's why I decided to get my own to replace my HP flip that died last month. This computer is fast and out performs the other chromebooks we have at the nurse's st. We have a dell and another HP chromebook and I just preferred to use this one. I couldn't beat the price although I wanted another flip (tablet/laptop combo) This was half the price I was going to pay.
