THE DISPLAY HAS HUGE NUMBERS! Need I tell you how easy is it to read it from across the room? Because if you never struggled with small digits you won't appreciate it but if you had I need not to spell it. Yes, this puppy is amazing. Inch tall or so digits tells you what you need to know without beating about the bushes. THE TOUCH SCREEN Yes, I don't know how many devices of this size have touch screen but even if they do, they lack other features as I must have spent few days searching for a perfect device and this is it! I love how you can touch the screen to change it from F to C and back as you please and the light comes on if you need making the screen gorgeous blue like ocean or the early evening sky.. LIGHT ON /OF TOUCH .. gorgeous blue LED screen ! Yes, all you need is one touch and you can easily find it as it is in the middle of the bottom of the screen and no guess work here. Touch i and the gorgeous blue light as in picture comes up. I really love the fact that they did not lie in the product picture. Do you know how many times we all see product promising nice LED light to the screen and then it comes and it is phew.. meh.. NO, this baby is really what it looks in the picture. Lights come up for few moments for you to see better and then it auto turns off. EASY MOUNT NO tools with a little extra effort on your side. They provide you with mounting but I found easy workaround to put it on any wall without hurting the paint or need for tools. I bought double sided clear tape.. while ANY double sided tape will do and I have no benefit of sharing this I still do because I just love this tape for little jobs when I need to stick a picture to the wall. You can move it about and no trace. IT does not go off with the paint. Cut one small piece or more and strategically put on the back of this thermometer and stick it to the wall and voila! no tools: I have bought few of those thermometer/hygrometer units so to me it made sense but mind that you can use left over for hanging pictures so it pays off for itself, also any such tape will do, they have them also in your local HDepot and BBBeyond. any brand any kind that is double sided and can keep a weight. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YB1ZXG6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I USE IT AS A QUICL LIGHT IN THE WALKNG CLOSET! It is just perfect for this! The light comes off in few seconds so no huge use and the three batteries inside seem to lasting. READING IS GOOD AND RELIABLE I am somewhat obsessed with the accuracy of things I buy and so this had to be compared with other devices of other sort to see if it is accurate because what good if it would not be right? So out of few in total that I have ALL of them consistently show accurate temperature and humidity levels . EASY ONE TOUCH switch from C to F and back. TOUCH SCREEN ROCKS! So super easy, the C to F button is on the touch screen in the corner and you can know in the dark where it is if you need it but also you can touch the light and have light up and then you can see even better.. one touch switches to F.. another back to C and so on.. perfect for your European Guests or if you are fluent with both systems. HIGH and LOW is always visible so you can see what was the last high and the last low reading which is helpful if you need to know. Price is reasonable, Quality is superb, Size is perfect, LED Touch screen makes it insanely fabulous, The blue light of the screen makes it dreamy. ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS UNIT! Seek no further. Give it a try... I am glad I had. I love that amazon allows for easy return so I did not marry it but I was so happy when it delivered as promised all the things I was hoping for. The ThermoPro TP55 does exactly what I want and with excellent design. It has exceeded my expectations. I like to know the humidity but until the TP55 I did not have a hygrometer. Humidity has a lot to do with how comfortable the air may be. I think we all think about hot and humid but cool or cold and humid aren't so great either: the term "clammy" comes to mind. Likewise very low humidity in winter can indicate a humidifier is called for. The point is having a way to measure humidity can be very useful to help make my home more comfortable. Things I like about the TP55 + The screen is large and easy to read (without my glasses) + the touch controls (backlight & C/F degrees) + 24h and all time max and minimum temp/humidity readings can be displayed + A nice little "kickstand" for sitting on a table and keyhole for wall mounting + The magnets on the back that work great on my fridge (the outside!) + The backlight has just the right brightness for my home + Even comes with batteries Things I don't so much: I'm not coming up with anything. I'm really very pleased. I'm really happy I got the ThermoPro TP55. It exactly meets my needs and has been working perfectly for a couple of months. Compact but with a large enough display: it's better than I expected it to be when reading the product listing. Because I like it so much it should be obvious I'm giving it 5 stars. UPDATE 28, Apr 2018: I have really liked my TP55 thermometer/hygrometer since I got it last summer. It was very helpful in winter to let me know when to break out my humidifier. Now rolling into summer it's nice to know the indoor humidity level. I check it frequently and so far it seems pretty accurate temperature-wise. Humidity-wise too though I only have how I feel and the local weather as a basic of comparison. It is still going strong on the original batteries that came in the package.. I remain very pleased and fully satisfied.

I bought this for its reported accuracy, large screen, min-max recording ability, and mounting versatility. While it is very accurate in our house, I bought it to use in my reptile enclosure. Because it is so large, it absorbs heat readily, so if it is near any source of heat, it skews the temperature way higher. It is also extremely slow to cool down, easily reading 85 when another thermometer will read 80 in the same spot. They are still great for the price. I now have one on my fridge and the other in the garage.

I love the compact size and the large, visible digits and accuracy in this device. We need to know humidity levels in our apartment—this allows us to know if/when adjustments are needed. It’s easy to put batteries in and let it start working. Great value and reasonable cost too!
