For the past 2 years I been stuck with a chrome, yes I know I use old piece of garbage but I been looking for a good computer that can run the games that I wanted to play. Honestly when I got this computer in the past few weeks I never been so excited, it runs games that I played so smoothly, the only problem is that you need the battery plugged in order to run games smoothly well no kidding everybody knows that and I wanted to upgrade the storage and ram but I didn't have enough money to buy 2 so I bought the ram but instead of not paying close attention I brought the wrong ram size (chip) so now I'm stuck with 8 gb ram but it can still run smoothly so yes that pretty much it. i would say its worth it for the price point, mine was made 5-23 had a issue with low sound, asus tech support couldnt fix the issue i ask asus if their was a speaker boost they said no .. hum so i found a program called DTS-X-ULTRA preinstalled software, it lets you adjust sound settings and EQ...... ●About DTS: X Ultra Technology DTS: X Ultra enables sound designers to specify different qualities of each sound, including location, movement, size, focus, and more. This is an amazing laptop especially for gaming! My son and I share it and absolutely love it! We play all kinds of games big and small and it plays it perfectly!! The only downside is the battery isn't the best but we have a fan that it sits on so it cools it down and it lasts a bit longer and that helps. Also keeping it plugged in while playing bigger games if fine with us as well. ... show more

i bought this laptop to be an actual laptop on my lap. was a little heavier than expected but its a gaming laptop. the only thing i didn't care for was the f1-f12 buttons couldn't be setup for hotkeys......who wants to hit fn then push f4 each time they want to adjust volume. tech support said that hotkeys weren't an option. so i find that annoying. but other than that the laptop was top notch, fans kept it cool, etc... ... show more
