This machine is everything I've always looked for in a laptop. Everything about it is spot on. There's nothing negative about it at all. It runs smooth. I play games on it while doing other things at the same time and it runs like a charm. I've been through a lot of laptops, notebooks..and this one's the best I've ever purchased. And the seller is super nice. There are no issues with it at all. 4T space, 64g ram, it plays all my mmo games smoothly with no problems. This computer is a workhorse. It downloaded like 14 games overnight, oh, doesn't sound impressive? I forgot to mention I am on a campus in the middle of the rocky mountains MT with crap for wi-fi and normally it take 72 hrs to download a 50 gb game. My old pc is over fifteen years old, so I never splurge on myself. This was a first and it's like being introduced to what I have been missing out on. It's fast, it's got amazing display, I adore the RGB backlit keys. Also, the seller was amazing! Again this was the first time I soent this much money on something, and the first package was lost so not gunna lie I kinda panicked. But the seller quickly shipped out another and kept communication and that was really rad of them. Thank you for that. I am very happy with my new pc!

Got this computer back in March 2022 to replace another laptop I used for game dev purposes, got the 64GB RAM version. Mind you, I've not had a situation where I've needed this much RAM, so the 32GB would've sufficed. As for performance, this machine is solid for a variety of high-end functionalities, including high-graphics gaming. I also use it for music creation alongside standard computer operations, and it handles everything without a hitch. If you're looking for high overall quality, this computer will not disappoint in that department. There are two minor flaws about this computer I've not been able to resolve with the computer itself. The main one is the keyboard; it feels like not all inputs get acknowledged with casual operation and may require more pressure to get keyboard inputs to be recognized. Of course, using an external keyboard will get around this situation. The second one is that the wireless card feels rather sluggish to acknowledge networks. At one point it outright stopped working wirelessly until a multitude of Windows updates were cycled a few times. I could likely put the fault on Windows for that one, though the responsiveness of the wireless card is a minor inconvenience. Overall, it's a solid computer that can handle most high-end tasks without much of a problem, though the minor flaws mentioned can be a slight nuisance when you need to be fully accurate with keyboard inputs.

No complaints on the item as received, it ran relatively well for the first several months with a few minor glitches that were easily sorted (see previous reviews about wireless connectivity and likely Windows-related issues). However, several months into using the laptop it failed, and all of the warranty/repair documentation on Amazon links you to Asus. There is a brief part of the product description that tells you that RAM is under warranty by Snow Bell, but there is no mention on how to contact them. After sending Asus my relatively-new laptop, they report that the error was due to incompatible RAM used in Snow Bell's upgrade. Now, I'm having to decide whether to have Asus make the repair with OEM RAM (16 GB) or have it returned and find a way to have Snow Bell to take a crack at it (contact information is relatively sparse), and spend more time without it.

I don't know if it's my 2 year old Wave Broadband router not cooperating well with the laptop's built-in wifi6 or if there's something wrong with the built-in wifi, but either way I was having disconnects, lagging in-game, and overall internet issues no matter what settings/drivers I used and when it was working it was barely getting 60Mbps when we pay for 250Mbps (meanwhile other devices connected to this internet are not having problems). I spent weeks trying to troubleshoot the issues and finally just bought a USB wifi adapter (this one: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B093FT3H7L) and no more internet problems. There is no webcam so if you were wanting to also do video streams or chatting, you'd need a separate camera. Other than that, it's been great for gaming and I'm really happy with my purchase. It's only been a month so far, so I will update if I run into new issues.

I really loved this laptop for a while, but within 6 months the keys are rubbing off. I don't use any harsh cleaners, and i don't scrub or anything but my keyboard numbers are slowly disappearing. no idea what to do about it since its not even a year old. the lights are neat, and the guts are great.. but the essential keyboard is becoming useless, as i had to buy an external keyboard just to type

I never touch my screen, so that wasn't an issue. I purchased with this product a full-size keyboard, a gaming mouse, and a 36-inch monitor for when I sit at my desk, but I love having a laptop for its portability. I am a big fan of ASUS and can't say enough good things about it, my last laptop lasted more than 10 years and saw some real wear and tear. My Desktop PC, also an ASUS has been with me for several moves and almost a decade. I have nothing but high expectations of this new box and hope it has the longevity as the ones previously owned. The picture quality is great, sound could be louder, but it is crisp and clear. Fast processors, even with a slow internet connection. I love how the new 17 inch model is smaller and lighter than my older model.
