My chromebook had an issue. I called and a representative answere right away and handled my claim. They could not repair the chromebook, so they send me a gift card for the purchase price.

I bought this protection plan with my laptop a while back but totally forgot about it. Thankfully when my laptop started having trouble charging, Asurion had my back. The whole process of filing a claim and sending it in was very simple and easy. They provide all the details needed and keep you in the loop throughout the process. I am glad to have invested in a plan with them. Now I have my laptop back in working condition as if new!

My Dell laptop was about 7 months old but the right hinge broke making opening the laptop impossible. I had purchased Asurion insurance when I purchased the laptop. When I spoke to the person from Asurion, she understood what my issue was and then proceeded to explain everything about the process to send the laptop to them. It was easy and fast. The only hiccup was with the UPS delivery but that was not Asurion’s fault.

I feel that Asurion was very responsive to my laptop not working. They sent me a box and I returned the laptop to be repaired. They had to do some extensive repair. When they finished, it was lost at UPS, only the box was left and discarded. They were quick to let me know that they would take steps to help. I was refunded the money that I had paid for the laptop in an Amazon gift card. I paid 110.29 for a 4 year warranty. I feel that I lost in the long run because I was short 110.29. I decided not to buy another laptop through Amazon due to the defects in the laptop. I bought it in February 2022, it was refurbished. The charger was loose and the headphone jack didn't work, no one could hear me. I just let it go until I found that I couldn't even open my laptop, I couldn't sign in to open it. I appreciate the help from Asurion, they were very responsive, but I spent a lot on the warranty only to have the laptop malfunction in a short time, then have it become lost.

A computer I only had for a bit over a year stopped working, and Asurion was great. While their website could use some improvements, I was able to chat with their agents and got things straightened out very easily and it didn't take me long to chat with an agent who was friendly and knew what they were talking about. Ultimately, they weren't able to fix my computer and sent me an amazon gift card for the full amount of my original purchase. I definitely recommend them--PARTICULARLY for their great customer service--and I'll be making sure all my computers are covered with them for future purchases.

Faulty HP laptop.

Whatever you do do not purchase this insurance policy!!! My daughter dropped her laptop and we called them and they wanted to send a box (take 3 to 5 days to get it), the it takes 3 to 5 days to ship it to them, then 3 to 5 days to repair and then 3 to 5 days to ship back. My daughter would fail her classes in college by then. They have shops that they use but the want you to pay $500 and when they fix it they will reimburse the $500. Its a shop they use so why can't they just send the order over and not to exceed $500. Its a scam please look into getting your own protection plan. Assurance is not the way to go. Then if you ship it, if something happens to it, again they will not fix. Amazon has to do better about getting protection plans there they and behind their produce. Oh and they will not send a loaner. February 9th....my daughter received the laptop back but can't get into it. They locked her out. She received it back on Tuesday and today is Friday and they still have not given her the help she needs to get into the laptop. Spoke to someone this evening and get this he has to submit a ticket to the office to help her but he is in technical support. Here I go again calling Amazon. I'm not dealing with them. If they want to sell this on their site they can deal with this company. They might want to stick to mobile phones.
