My Epson Ecotank ET-4850 went rogue on me about 2 weeks ago today , I called Asurion Directly to file a claim the agent made it so easy and hassle free , I Sent my product and they immediately got to work on it , it took a little bit longer than expected but they came through for me but in the meantime they continued to stay in touch via email and text messages , my device was beyond repair so they sent me a gift card from where I purchased from for the full price I paid for my unit , so grateful I had Asurion to protect my device

I purchased this plan but had no idea that I would have to provide my own box and packaging for sending a product to Asurion for repair. The item that needs repair is a large two drawer printer which is extremely heavy and was very difficult to box up, etc. With any other warranty if you need to send the product in for repair the company mails you the box, packing supplies and sends either UPS or FedEx to pick the box up. Not Asurion...they want you to purchase the supplies, box the product up and take the product to the UPS store for shipping. The whole thing is ridiculous and I am so sorry I purchased this warranty, it was a big waste of money. I would have given no stars if it was an option.

Two years ago I needed to buy a new printer. The Brother brand had been recommended by a friend so I purchased one on Amazon that fit my needs at the time. It functioned well for two years and then abruptly quit. Fortunately, I had purchased product protection from Asurion. I submitted my claim and when the box arrived to ship the printer for repairs all the packaging needed was included. I shipped using the prepaid shipping label and within days of receiving my printer, Asurion notified me that it wasn’t repairable and an Amazon gift card for the amount I had paid for the printer initially was emailed to me immediately. I am impressed that it was that easy.

I used it for my Samsung Computer Monitor, which had problems after the regular warranty ran out. Without it I would have been out almost $400. Sometimes it may take a little longer, but they do what they say they will do. If you have any problems that a regular tech person can't fix, just ask to speak to a supervisor. In any case, they do a good job

I got it just in case anything happens to it and the renewal is not as expensive as new phones from a shop. It was really quick to submit a claim. After having it for 15 months everything was fine but then the issue I had was that one morning I woke up and there was a crease in the folding section of the screen which was very odd. I'm guessing moisture from it raining is all night but it was never dropped. Later my kids got a hold of my phone and made it worse but I shipped my phone the next day they received it and emailed me a full refund and I was able to buy the same phone for a cheaper price than last time so I have $20 to use for something else and that with buying another protection plan for it too.

Not really happy for the service call them they wouldn’t troubleshoot they forwarded me to the manufacturer to have them fix the issue that they couldn’t solve not very happy
