I searched and searched for various types and styles of foot rests/ ottomans for months that were reasonably priced and decided to take a chance on unstuffed pouf covers. I liked the idea that I could store old blankets and pillows in them and I could wash them if and when they got dirty. I ordered one each of the black, white and gray tipped ones so I can see which one suited my family room best. I even considered I might want to mix and match colors, but in the end, the gray tipped poufs won out, largely for the bargain that they were at $25 apiece, but also because the color scheme worked really well with my decor AND they would hide dirt well. Plus, the black one looked too fake fur-ish, and both the black and white pours were priced at around $40 each. I used my husband’s beloved, ugly old queen sized faux mink blanket and a couple of throw quilts in one and I can’t even remember how many throw pillows, quilts and blankets I stuffed in the other to make it the firmness I wanted for resting my feet on. They’re quite comfy! I definitely recommend these poufs. PRO’s: stylish, nice looking, washable, will hide dirt, can be used for storage or hiding unsightly items with sentimental value that you just can’t let go of, reasonable price, comfy, height and firmness customizable CONS: takes a little bit of effort to stuff big items in there ... show more

Bought this to instead of another brands crazy expensive ottoman cover. Fabric feels the same or better and looks nice. Doesn't fully cover the bottom of all sides but does the job.

This fit fine in the cover (from the same listing) but my daughter (65lbs) sat on it and it squished to the floor. I added 5lbs of shredded memory foam and now it is pretty sturdy. It was hard to get the foam into the pouf because, while there is a zipper on it, it's on the side of the pouf, not the bottom, so it was really hard to stuff. ... show more

It's a nice fabric and multi color that goes with whites, greys and blues. It needs to filled, this is the SHELL ONLY. YOU MUST BUY FILLER for it. It says that 10 lbs of filler is good but it is still a bit loose, I'd probably add another 5 lbs of gel material.
