I have bought larger units, either using the cigarette lighter or 120 V plug for power with analog display. This unit is far superior. Sturdy lithium battery — set desired pressure digitally. When it gets there, turns off! Perfect. Just as fast as my much bigger and more expensive gadget.

I decided to give AstroAI another chance after a frustrating experience with one of their previous tire inflators. That one stopped working unexpectedly when I really needed it, leaving me stranded and relying on others to get home in an emergency. So, I’m cautiously optimistic about the AstroAI L4, hoping it holds up better this time. As a cyclist, I’m currently using it as my bike pump, and I have to say—it’s fast! People are always surprised by how quickly it inflates a tire. As of today, I’m happy with this specific product, but I’ve had bad experiences with AstroAI before, so I’m keeping my expectations in check. What I Like So Far: Quick Inflation: It fills up tires fast, which is great when you're in a rush. Built-in Pressure Gauge: No need for a separate gauge to check tire pressure. Compact & Portable: Easy to store in my car and take anywhere in my pack. What I’m Watching For: Durability & Reliability: My last AstroAI inflator failed at the worst time, so I’ll be keeping a close eye on whether this one holds up. Noise Level: Like most air pumps, it's a bit loud, but that’s expected. Final Thoughts (For Now): At first glance, the AstroAI L4 seems like a solid, well-designed inflator, but given my past experience, I’m not fully convinced yet. I’ll be testing it more over time and will update this review if it lets me down (or impresses me). I love this compressor! Impressed enough to write a review. I am someone who frequently checks and tops off the tires and spare tires for our cars. This battery powered compressor is so much more convenient than the 12V wired plug-in products I used to have. So much quicker to walk around the car and use. I like the design - I just set the desired PSI, attach it, and it fills if PSI are needed. Fits well in my hand and the light at the end is useful in dark parts of the garage. I was concerned about battery life but it seems good - I used to add alot of air to 2 temporary spares and then topped off 8 car tires and was just under 50%.

So far so good, I've done 6 tires on the truck, wife's & my sports car. I wish the inflator had a hook & lanyard to hang on large tires when the stem is at the top! A neat device for the money & it sure beats hauling my Compressor or hoses out if the Garage. Half price of others & I found it on the "Car & Driver" Lists.
