My car, like most these days doesn’t have a spare tire. I bought the car used and the previous owner did not include the inflator that came from the manufacturer. I wanted something compact that would fit in the small frunk (it’s an electric car). This fit the bill with the bonus that it came with many adapters for filling other things. So far I’ve only used it to fill my car tires and it works well. You set the type of measurement you use, I set it to PSI, and the inflation pressure you want then just flip the switch to the II setting and it inflates to the pressure you set then automatically shuts off. It also illuminates a small LED light on the side which would be helpful in the dark. If you only want the light you set it to the I position instead of the II position and you only get the light which was not explained in the manual. I was skeptical about the slide on and clamp type car tire connector that is default on the device as I only used the screw on type in the past but this is easier to use and it makes a perfect seal on the valve stem. The PSI measurement seems accurate to within 1-2 PSI according to the TPMS gauges in the car. I don’t have a separate PSI measuring tool so I can’t say which is more accurate but it’s close enough and gets the job done at a good price! ... show more

I got this compressor to top off auto (32 PSI, spare 60 PSI) and RV Trailer (65 PSI) tires. Overall I am happy with this compressor. THE CORD is long enough to reach all tires on our Honda Accord. On our Ford Expedition I have to use the rear 12V Power socket to reach the rear tires. To reach the 20 foot RV trailer tires I made an extension cord (Which may be available commercially). THE CURRENT the compressor is fused for is 15 amps. I am a bit worried about blowing my vehicle fuses. But it didn't blow any fuses as I tested it on the Honda Accord or KZ Escape RV trailer. I may get a battery clip adapter and use it that way to be safe. It does not come with a battery clip adapter. THE DIGITAL GAUGE AND AUTO STOP were repeatable when I tested it topping tires off at 32 and 55 PSI. This compressor's accuracy is +-1.5 PSI, plus it inflates about 0.5 PSI over the set value to allow for air loss during disconnection from the tire. My compressor consistently inflates 2.0 PSI over what I set the digital gauge to. So I plan to set the pressure 2 PSI lower when using the compressor. I like the auto stop! AstroAI has developed a seemingly accurate digital pressure sensor. THE RUN TIME LIMIT is 20 minutes then you are supposed to let it rest 10 minutes per the manual. Otherwise it will overheat and quite possibly damage the compressor. This is typical of this class of compressor. I wish they would implement a thermal breaker to protect the compressor for both the manufacturer's and customer's sake. The compressor slows down as the pressure increases. This thing hasn't broken yet. I am, however, treating it kindly. I don't keep it in the trunk due to possible effects of the cold, so I can't comment on that realm. I can say, it appears to work as advertised. It's lighter and smaller than I expected, but has been effectively used to inflate two care tires, two bike tires, and an air raft. Works as advertised. Never had issues inflating to specific PSI and always saw the exact same PSI reported by car's internal PSI gauge. As stated this will not deflate the PSI so if you need to air down you need to deflate manually, then inflate using device. Never had any issues with it. 5

The pump works great. It inflated a completely flat car tire to 32 psi in under 15 minutes. The items is easy to use, the design is simple, light weight, and easy to use. I am very impressed. The power cord is plenty long and the screen is easy to read. Very impressed and well worth the cost.
