TTC turned me on to this thing. I have other air hammers. This thing isn't an air hammer, it is comic-strong, plot-armor-awesome, wicked powerful air HAMMER. This thing has made my life so much easier doing frame repairs, setting differential bearings, etc. Stop reading some rando's ramblings and click buy now. If you have ever had a stuck fastener or pin that you needed to drive out or needed to cut through some metal and didn't have room to swing a big hammer or maybe you didn't want to beat on it for 30 minutes or more. That's when you need an air hammer like this. It hits hard, like the big boys on the tool trucks, but at less than a quarter of the cost. It hit harder than the harbor freight chief (ok not a huge deal untill you factor in that it costs less than the chief does) one note is that you need to run it for a little bit and break it in before you will get all of the power out of it. This is an amazing tool and when I got it they were selling at great prices compaired to all of the competition in this class. I would recommend this air hammer to professional and home mechanics.

Had to get an air hammer to remove sway bar bushings from the control arms on a '95 Econoline, this thing was almost too powerful! Thankfully after I got the hang of the trigger, you can really dial in how much power you need, from light taps to total destruction. The quality and performance are great for the price.

Didn't seem too powerful at first. Bit did end up doing me good for a couple months. Then I oiled it one day and the teigger got stuck full throttle like other reviews have said. Called astro, said it has a 1 year warranty and i have to send the tool back myself. Not super happy. I have enjoyed their impact guns however.

I received my first one and it looked good! I hooked it up for the first time and absolutely NO power. I ran that thing as hard as possible and it wouldn’t get any better. I returned it and waited a week to receive this new one. Let me tell you, this thing has POWER. I was debating getting this Astro Pnuematic or the Snap On and I figured for the price and TTC, South Main Auto’s video on it I would give this one a try. NO REGRETS. I would put this up there next to or ABOVE Snap On or Matco ANYDAY! If you need a powerful air hammer but don’t want to step up to Big Nasty’s .498 shank size. THIS is the one.

I never knew how bad I needed this in my life until I came across a viscous fan clutch on a tractor that had been virtually welded to the water pump by the previous owner (left hand thread, bro). I mean jumping on a the end of a 2" wrench and breaker bar stuck. I was preparing to cut the thing off but fortunately fell down a YouTube hole that lead me in this direction. And lo, it motivated that nut right off no problem. Worth every penny just on that repair alone. Now I consider it essential farm shop equipment as using seems to avoid many smashed fingers and hands. Also, as it caused some consternation on my part while making the purchase, I have not regretted the 0.401" shank decision.

Awesome gun, did a ton of research before purchasing a new hammer. Saw that this one was comparable to the snap on air hammer for 1/5th the price. It hits super hard, and has been an awesome air hammer. But it’s starting to leak air internally…
