I ordered a pair of these they were sent without anything just the headphones no mixamp or any wires that are needed to use the headphones i already have a pair and bought these for my brother the headphones are really comfortable and sound great but cant be used without the mixamp

When I purchased these headphones I was exspecting thee latest model the one with the dock that you place the headset on, but instead I got these, now don't get me wrong they sound awesome and have a great mic with ok battery life. The product just needs to be labeled better so people know what they are buying especially because they are going to drop 200+ on this product Note- there are problems with the firm wear I believe, sometimes of the headset is left on to long the button for turning off/on and synchronizing the head set becomes unresponsive and the only way to fix it is to let the headset completely die ... show more

Bought this product with box unopened. Came in a refurbished box with everything included. Headset was in perfect condition and did not seem to have any wear at all. The headset stand would not snap together fully probably because it was made cheaply but it still functions. Unfortunately, after some troubleshooting I discovered that the included AG1 chat cable was broken (although the ASTRO logo was lighting up, it still wasn't working). ASTRO should not be packaging broken cables! Amazon's amazing customer service helped resolve this issue without me having to return the entire product. After hearing about ASTRO's terrible customer service I did not even want to attempt to notify them of this issue. A solid product for xbox one gameplay. Sound is clean and crisp. The mic isn't special but it gets the job done. Headset is very comfortable and sturdy. It's not truly wireless like the new gen. The AG1 cable connects the headset to the xbox one controller for mic use. Master volume placement is awkward. Worth more than $150? No. Side note: If your headset is working fine and there is feedback from the mic but your mic isn't registering or picking up your voice in game then you probably have a broken AG1 cable. Apparently these go out every 6 months and cost $25 on astrogaming.com. Don't buy this cable on amazon because its overpriced! ... show more

The Astro A50 1st Gen is absolutely phenomenal. It is just outright gorgeous and I love the sound quality. I jumped into a game after having them setup and I instantly fell in love. Thank you Astro

Game sound was great but party chat was terrible I have always used turtle beaches and that's what I went back to! In my opinion Astros are very overrated

The headset came with missing components, while i did test - the headset sounded great but showed some signs of wear. With the signs of wear and missing component, i returned the package. Its a coin toss with a refurb product.
