Had 11 headsets in the last 2 years and these are the best made, best premium feel, comfiest, top notch eq adjustments. I got the like new ones and they are amazing once u learn how to set them up (which can be annoying at first)

The software is terrible and mandatory for use, the comfort is poor due to the heavy weight, and the sound quality is average at best. The build quality is poor; it is at once way too heavy and mostly made of cheap flimsy plastic. The headband pad (important due to the weight) pops out super easily, leading to the headphones jump scaring you randomly and falling uncomfortably on your head, and even in the best case the fit is rather bad. The headphones are much more interested in looking cool on the charger dock than being functional. Also, you have to set them in the dock just right or they won't charge. Overall a terrible value in my opinion, get some HyperX Cloud IIs instead. ... show more

Was worried about buying a refurbished one but came clean and looked brand new! The charging is amazing and makes it so easy getting on and off without I would always forget to plug in, battery is never a problem. Enough weight to know it’s there but not uncomfortable at all. Extremely functional with movement and adjustment. Noise cancellation is great too, everyone used to complain about my fans. Not sure if it’s an Astro problem or refurbished problem but screws occasionally come loose. ... show more

I was hesitant to buy refurbed but they came in with original box and all original pieces. The headset hasn’t had one hiccup and was even already updated out of the box. Highly recommend.

    • could be a lot better. spend the extra money to get brand new product quality.
The media could not be loaded. so all in all, u definitely get what u pay for with these. when u buy something renewed u run the risk of something not being squared away like if u bought it new. that was the case with me, and according to other reviews its very possible to be the case if u order these renewed. straight out of the box, i picked this headset up and i noticed it was missing a screw on the left side where it holds the plastic to the headphone, so i decided i would just put some tape on it and wait to see what happened with them. they were fully functional, except after a few days i started to have issues with its battery life, i would have to let it charge for hours on end and it would still not be charged past 30 percent sometimes. this did go away eventually and oddly, so i kept using it like normal for some more days, then i had noticed the other screw in the same spot on the left headphone was becoming loose, so i went ahead and tried to tighten it but to no avail. so i put some more tape on it in the same spot just on the other side where the other screw was. so after about a day or so from that point i started to see the same issues i was having with the battery life, only sometimes it would charge just fine, but other times it seemed like i had to leave it charging for a long time and also to no avail. so ALL IN ALL, when u buy renewed u should expect renewed quality, and dont expect everything to be squared away like it should be if u bought it new, mine was missing a screw and had issues with the battery life on several different occasions. if u dont mind the mishaps and wanna just deal with them to save the extra money, go for it but in my opinion its just not worth the hassle, especially just to be able to use them normally, and also for this expensive of a product, u should want more for u money. ... show more
