Seems to be good bang for your buck; just got them in tonight and. have been using for the past hour. Honestly I'm surprised at how comfortable they are and at the sound as well. They are not fully noise-cancelling (to be expected) but the quality of the sound is great. I haven't used the mic feature yet and am having some trouble getting the input to work for it, so I may put this down to 4 stars if that persists. I got these since I work from home and it won't be a huge deal if that feature ends up not being compatible with my desktop Mac, but definitely a little irritating atm. Overall I like what I paid for. EDIT: It took a lot of tinkering with plugging in and out and twisting in the ports to get my input mic to work. But it works and the quality of my recordings and calls are great! It is a little quiet, so I had to turn my dials all the way up but sounds great now. ... show more

I would have payed at least 100$ for these and still thought they were under priced. Super comfortable. Superb sound quality. The only down sides are 1) no real noise canceling...not good at that and 2) the mic is a tab on the quiet side...I don't use it much, I have other mics...but if you plan to use it, keep that in mind. But if these things are not important to you...buy them. ... show more

When i bought it. It was working great but then after like a week it just stop working normally i have to unplug it and replug it in multiple times a day just for it to work and i have to keep my controller still just for it to work. Like i said before though its great

Sound quality is good but isn't anything to write home about, perfectly solid for a headset at this price range. Surround sound is also pretty good, I've been playing lethal company with these and these are perfect at emulating that game's fantastic sound design and directional sound. Mic quality is great for the price, again, not as good as a dedicated mic, but way better than most other $50 headsets, even better than a lot of $100 headsets! Pretty comfortable and breathable I don't get that kind of gamer head sweatyness like from others, even after hours. Even with glasses there's no major discomfort, maybe a bit of soreness after hours of continual pressure, but nothing that doesn't go away after a quick 5min break with them off. Only complaint is that I wish I got these wireless! For me, the cable is a bit long, and often gets tangled up in my desk and chair. I may just swap out the aux for a shorter one... Overall, these are the best $50 headset I've owned, can't recommend it highly enough for its solid sound quality, comfort, and mic quality. ... show more

I recently purchased the Astro A10 Gaming Headset Gen 2, and while I was initially excited about this product, I’ve encountered a couple of issues that have led me to believe I may have received a defective unit. Microphone Echo: One of the main problems I’ve experienced is an echoing effect through the microphone. This has been quite disruptive during gameplay, as my teammates have reported hearing their voices echoed back. I’ve tried troubleshooting this issue with no success, leading me to suspect it might be a hardware fault. Cord Connectivity: Another concern has been the headset’s cord, which seems to have a loose connection. It frequently disconnects, causing sudden audio dropouts. This is particularly frustrating in the middle of a game or conversation. I’ve checked the connection points, but the issue persists, indicating a possible defect in the cord itself. Overall Thoughts: Despite these issues, I believe the Astro A10 Gen 2 has the potential to be a great headset. The audio quality, when not interrupted by the cord issue, is quite good, and the design is comfortable for short periods. I’m hoping that my experience is not indicative of the overall quality of this product line and that I just happened to receive a lemon. Ive had these for a few months now for my Xbox. They work great. I used to have astro a40s with the mix amp, these are just as good to be honest.

I've owned an A10 for several years now with no problems, so I ordered one for my son. Unfortunately, it stopped working properly after a while. The audio was staticky and the sound would glitch so much that he had to unplug it and plug it back in often. It eventually wasn't worth the trouble. So, since I have been using an A10 myself with no problems, I'm assuming my son just got a bad unit. My review of this headset is mixed. Unfortunately, the problem started after the 30-day return policy, so it's now in the trash. It was a waste of $60. ... show more

The only issue I had at first was I only heard sound from one side. But you had to push in the wire until it clicked for it to work on both sides. So thankfully it isn't broken, just gotta push it. Other than that, they feel extremely comfortable and sound great!
