  • Quality
Size: 16 Feet / 2 Doors
Great product. For the money, very impressed. This is only the 16ft one, couldn’t imagine how big the 20ft one is. I shipped this and set it up all the way in Alaska. Fully waterproof without the rain fly. Took me about 30-45 minutes to set it up alone. Zipper quality is pretty decent but not insane. The stitching is made very well. Floor unzips from the walls and is detachable. Floor also goes up the wall a few inches to prevent water from getting inside ever. Fabric is very hard to tear and appears to last a long time. It comes with some huge rebar stakes which keep it insanely secure. The guy lines are high quality and easily adjustable. Enough space to fit a queen size bed inside plus lots of room. It was missing 1 of the inner framing poles though which made setup difficult but was able to attach extra guy lines to that spot to keep wall from caving in. GREAT PRODUCT ... show more

  • Beautiful and well built, but be aware of compatible stove options!
Size: 16 Feet / 2 Doors
I bought this tent to live off grid and got it set up just in time for a severe winter storm with over a foot of snow and 50mph wind gusts. This tent passed the test and stayed in tact perfectly! The only thing I will say is that the wood burning stove I purchased is not compatible with this tent as the stove pipe outlet is low on the wall. Wood stoves need a completely vertical chimney to function properly and the only way to outlet mine was to put a vertical outlet which has led to issues with back draft and the whole tent filling with smoke. So I would recommend a pellet stove for this tent (those can have horizontal outlets) or one of the really small wood burners that could be placed closer to the wall and have the chimney go straight up and out the low outlet (would need to be much shorter than the tent outlet which is maybe 3 ft above the floor). Although in my case, the small wood burners would not keep this size tent warm enough in the below 20 degree weather I currently have it set up in. The one I have (Camp Chef Alpine) is barely keeping up. I did reach out to Wilderness Resource customer service to discuss my issue with the stove, as the chat assistant on their page said the stove I have would work perfectly. Their customer service is incredible and they offered immediate support for my problem. Couldnt recommend this company more! Just be sure to choose the right stove! ... show more

  • Quality that lasts
Size: 13 Feet / 2 Doors
The media could not be loaded. Hats off to this company for making a rock solid tent that doesn't break the bank. Setup took me about 20 minutes by myself and the instructions were easy to follow. We got hit with a pretty intense rain storm and the tent shrugged it off. Not a drop of water inside. I saw some people complaining about water getting in, but I'd bet good money that was probably an issue with their setup. I would think its pretty obvious you should keep the door and window flaps closed if its going to rain...I'm going to leave this up year round without a second thought. With some cleaning and care this thing will probably outlast me. If you are on the fence about buying this tent - do it. You're gonna love it! ... show more

  • tent well made. Hard to assemble.
The construction of the tent is fantastic, but trying to put the side poles in was so hard that a thought I was going to rip the canvas. Once I got the side poles in, I tried to zip the door closed but couldn't...so I had to relax the side adjustment tethers to take the tension off the door so it would zip. That worked, although it made the side of the tent mis shaped. We talked to the customer service people (who were very nice).and they said to relax the floor stakes. We did that, but it didn't make any difference. Not a tent for a weekend excursion. ... show more

  • Beautiful and comfortable
I had been looking at this tent for over a year and finally decided to go for it! No regrets!! We had purchased some property on the lake and are not yet ready to build. I dislike camping, especially tent-camping, so I had been searching for something special and came across this “tent.” It was very easy to put up and looks very unique! We have left it up for almost a month and it has successfully withstood wind, rain, and storms. We are on Lake Michigan and the winds can be strong. There have been no leaks, even when we stayed in it through a rain-filled weekend. I ordered the 16’ and kind of wish I would have splurged a little more and went for the 20’. There is plenty of room and we were comfortable with a queen bed, 3 very large dogs, and our adult son. The stargazer ceiling is wonderful at night, but gets the tent a little warm during a sunny day. The sun shade does help, but I’ll also be getting a little fan. With the windows and door open, a nice breeze comes through the tent. The directions are sparse, but we were able to figure it out without difficulty. The included tent stakes are of great quality and have withstood the elements so far. We needed to use the tent soon after delivered, so it is directly on the ground. I will be adding a platform and I can only imagine that will add to the experience. As I said, I’m not a tent-camping person, but with this tent, I’m quickly becoming one! ... show more

  • Rains inside
It is wet inside. It's actually dripping on my bed. When you open the door, to get out or in, I get all my clothes wet. The windows opening do not close at the bottom so the rain got in from there too. The opening for the stove is so low that you have to have a tiny stove near the ground. And it drips. Water. Constantly. It's winter here and between condensation and rain, it started to rain inside. I would say a fantastic tent but for summer time! ... show more
