  • Great for Combining and Organizing Similar Tool Sets
This is a very high-quality bag with plenty of storage capacity to hold all my Dremel tools except for my small Dremel saw. The pockets and storage areas are well thought out, and everything fits. I have three Dremel Tools, one big extension, three chargers, adapters, and hundreds of bits all stuffed into this bag. Finally, I have all my small Dremel tools in one place. This worked fantastically to organize the small bits and containers as well. The saw is just too big to fit in the bag, and I do not know where the blades would go. I like to cut, carve, and engrave wood, glass, and soft stone for a hobby. ... show more

  • Heavy-Duty yet Lightweight
Pros: This bag is built heavy-duty yet is lightweight when empty, and will fit many of your go-to tools with ease. It is comfortable to wear and there are soft edges keeping you and your tools safe. Next, there are many zippered pouches in this bag, making organization simple and clean. The best part of the design is the glasses/goggle pouch, both because it is right up front for ease of access and because it is a tough, zippered, shell case where it will not house other objects that will hide or damage your eye gear. Excellent design. Cons: This will not replace your tool box in any respect but it will make jobs easier by having the bulk of your smaller and more used tools at the ready and on the go for you. Overall, I'm a fan of this backpack and would recommend it. ... show more

  • Excellent Tool Backpack for Homeowners and Tradespeople
As a homeowner, I like to keep a small tool bag on the second floor so I don’t have to walk all the way to the garage every time I need a screwdriver. It might sound like overkill, but when things come up, it’s much easier to grab what I need from the hallway closet. I originally bought a cheap toolkit from Amazon that came with a bag. Over the years, the bag fell apart, but the tools themselves were still in great shape. This backpack has been the perfect replacement. The build quality is excellent, and it feels like it will last for many years. It holds a lot of tools, has great straps and pockets to keep everything organized, and opens wide enough to fit a drill inside without any trouble. As a former electrician, I can honestly say this would have been a great bag to have for residential work instead of carrying a bulky toolbox around. Great quality, great value, and extremely practical for homeowners and professionals alike. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Extremely Sturdy
This thing is the bomb shelter of tool bags. Even without any tools in it, it is heavy. It needs to be strong. If you filled every one of its slots/compartments it's gonna weigh more than a lot of people are able to lift easily. In terms of layout, everyone has different needs. For me, the layout of the tools slots works well. The slots in the two main compartments are tiered. Longer tools in the back - shorter stuff in the from. I would prefer if some of the slots in the back of the main compartments were wider. Some of the back pack elements are borrowed from camping style backpacks. There is a mesh venting where the pack will contact your back. The straps are padded. None of these features are high quality. This thing is more about holding tools than moving them long distances. They designed it so that the back and the front fold away from the center when you unzip the two main compartments. I've had other bags that open up on just one side. Over time, those bags tend to lean towards the compartment side and don't stay upright very well. Time will tell, but my guess is that this one will be more stable over time then some others. You do have to be thoughtful on how you load the front and back compartments in order to keep the bag from flopping over. I am giving this five stars because it is made from extremely heavy/durable materials, and it seems built to last. In terms of design/layout, that is such an individual thing, that five people can look at the same thing and end up with five very different opinions. Look at all the photos and see if it meets your needs. I'll add that I originally ordered a 20 inch tool bag, but somehow this backpack was shipped. ... show more

  • Excellent Design & Build Quality, Very Durable.
I have reviewed several similar tool bags and I think this one is my favorite because it is the most versatile and best fits my needs of mostly medium with some heavy duty use while still being easily carried up stairs. If you want to carry very heavy tools or only want to have a single bag/tote to carry everything you need for a full day, get the next size up. I prefer to have this bag which carries enough to cover 85% of my needs and then carry Romex, outlets or other materials in a separate large tote with wheels. This bag is lightweight but has good back padding which makes it very comfortable and the build quality is solid. The bottom is very sturdy reinforced canvas, not heavy rubber like some others. I like the hand tool compartments with different depths, even short tools are still visible. The zippers go all the way to the bottom so it fully opens like a clamshell which makes all the tools easily accessible, even the ones at the bottom. The capacity is very good, easily will carry about 15-20 hand tools and a few cordless tools like a drill and driver. This is not a cheap bag, you will be satisfied with the quality and durability. Pretty good deal considering how well this is made which means it wont need to be replaced. I believe the saying "The most expensive tools are the ones you need to replace". Overall design, build quality & functionality are excellent, highly recommended. ... show more
