Bought the set two years ago as a Christmas gift. We have been very pleased with them. Instructions recommend not putting them in dishwasher which we haven’t done and so far have not had to sharpen them. They have stayed very sharp! Only complaint was with the scissors. The bolt area started rusting after a while and they just broke the other day. The handle cracked and then broke in two. I’m not sure if the lifetime warranty applies to the scissors or just the knives but I’m going to contact the company. I would have given a 4.5 star due to the scissors but the knives and block are fantastic. ... show more

The knives are very nice and they are sharp. They are well balanced and feel comfortable when chopping. They can be washed in the dishwasher, but make sure to dry them well right away to prevent any spots or staining. I learned this from their customer service which is 5 stars for sure. It is hard to get a solid knife of this quality in this price range and I am very happy I did. The steak knives are much better than some of the bigger name brands we have used. Overall a great purchase and hopefully will last for years to come. ... show more

The knife set itself is gorgeous! I did have a knife arrive knicked directly on the edge of blade and one steak knife had a flaw. I reached out to customer service and they were so helpful and attentive to my issue. Great support! Will update review after moderate use but they seem very durable and great for the price! ... show more

These knives arrived well-packaged and promptly. They are absolutely beautiful-so sleek and modern. They look great in the block on my new kitchen counter. Also they are so sharp and cut through just about anything easily. I would have given a 5-star rating for customer service if that was an option…one of my knives had the slightest spot on it (rust?), that was not enough to cause me to return the entire set but it bothered me bc I didn’t know if it might impact its future appearance or functionality. I reached out to the company and a representative responded promptly. Once I sent a photo of the knife they offered to send me a whole new set within two weeks. So as long as they follow through, I would say that is excellent customer service! The only slight issue, and it’s not enough for me to return the set, is that the listing claimed that the knives are dishwasher safe, but the instructions advise against it. I would always hand wash knives of this caliber anyway, but if you’re looking for knives that can be put in the dishwasher, you can, but it may damage these knives. For all of these reasons I would recommend these knives to anyone-I really like them! ... show more

These knives are so great. They are labeled with their purpose. Sharp but have included a sharpener to keep the knives useful for a long time. A container ( knife block ) is included in this order. The price was perfect.

    • My sis treats them like crap and they still work with no rust
So I gave these to my sister and brother in law with like 0 care instructions about drying and that kind of thing. My brother in law is probably using the larger knives to string tennis rackets and open cans of paint while my sister is likely throwing all the knives in the dishwasher and leaving it for a day or possibly two. During my periodic visits I haven't seen any rust. I mean they might have a dryer function on their dishwasher or they're being careful but these things seem to take being treated roughly pretty well. Plus as far as a gift option for people who don't take care of knives well, the steel handle does seem to hold up better than plastic ones do. Anyway that's my two cents on it. ... show more
