I don't have the room for a real press, so this is an amazing replacement. This is my second one of this brand, so I have one for home and one for the cabin. You set your temperature and your time, let it warm up (doesn't take long at all) on the tray that's included (which doesn't melt, so don't worry about that), pick it up, press START, and it goes to work. I find that it's easiest to use with the cord facing me - this helps prevent the cord from getting in the way, especially when you set it down on the tray, so you don't set the hot iron on the cord. But the cord is heat-resistant, so it didn't melt at all when I accidentally set the cable between the tray and the hot iron. So the only (not that) bad thing about this is when I use it with the cord facing me, the buttons are upside down, which is easy for me to adapt to. The only thing I wish this included (but I knew this prior to ordering) is a couple teflon sheets to complete the kit. I can't imagine this would have affected the price very much, so I think it's a cheap addition that would have made this an even better value. But overall, I love this, it works great for my vinyl iron-ons. I like that I can put it away in the storage bag that's included. I store mine in my dryer storage drawer stand, so it's out of the way. And the price sure beats the $200+ price tage of a real press.

I absolutely LOVE this heat press. It’s large and it heats evenly. In my opinion it works better than the “grasshopper” (wink wink) one. The instructions say that there is an app available (if you have the proper model). I did not bother even looking if I did, since I don’t always trust downloading apps on MU phone, but the convenience is that it comes with a complete list of possible settings to use with various materials. I find that even when you have the other kind with the app, you end up using the same 2-3 settings all of the time anyway. I put mine on top of a wooden cutting board, because my table is plastic. It comes with a nice pad as well - very well made, which is also slip free, It heats up really fast. I highly recommend this one.

This works very well and is easy to use. It feels well made without being overly heavy. Was very easy for me to press and simple to use. I pressed some rhinestones onto a shirt and it was quick and they are holding on well.

As a crafter who makes a lot of custom t-shirts with heat transfer vinyl (HTV), I was looking for a larger press without the premium price tag of the big-name brands. This 12"x10" machine is a fantastic find. It heats up quickly and, most importantly, provides consistent, even heat across the entire plate, which is the key to a successful transfer. I tested it on a cotton shirt with a detailed vinyl design, and the results were flawless—the vinyl adhered perfectly with no peeling edges or bubbles. The machine is very easy to operate, with simple buttons to set the exact temperature and time. I also really appreciate that this comes bundled with a thick, high-quality heat mat that perfectly protects my work surface. My only minor critique is the lack of an auto-shutoff feature, so you need to be diligent about turning it off after use. That said, for its performance and the quality of the results, this heat press is an incredible value and a powerful tool for any crafter. It easily competes with more expensive presses.

This heat press worked well for me. It was easy to use, the light turns green when it's ready to go. The instructions are fairly clear and give you different heat settings for different materials and times to heat the material for. The press came with a pad and holder to rest the press on while heating. It came with a couple sample heat transfers that I tried out on the included carrying bag and they both came out nice. Good size to do most everything really and it appears to be well built. All In all for the price it's a pretty good value.
