The graphics and city of Baghdad look amazing on Series X. The combat seems more challenging, but the stealth gameplay is supposed to be the preferred route, and that shows. There are plenty of environmental traps and ways to strike from the shadows, instead of going full out combat. The traversal is also greatly improved from the last one. Plenty of ways to freerun on roof tops around the cities. The story so far is pretty awesome, as well. Would definitely recommend if you're burnt out on the larger AC titles (Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla). Will update if the ending sucks, but I have high doubts that would be the case... The launch edition was awesome as well. The map and artwork are printed high-quality in their special envelope. ... show more

if you haven't played AC Origins, this is the perfect game for you. it's a small slice of african desert and BEAUTIFUL dusty cobblestoned cities....but with the engine and slightly nerfed combat of AC Valhalla. the combat has been energy-nerfed I GUESS to make you more stealthy and crafty in your approach towards combat??? so like it or not, it's there lol. doesn't subtract much from the fun but it can be weirdly annoying. besides that though, it feels good to just roam around the BIGGG middle city causing chaos and soaking in the vibe. it actually does FEEL like you're in a small slice of Northern Africa so the immersion is what you're buying into here. ALSO, i actually love the smaller world they created here as opposed to the bigger more empty worlds of Odyssey and Valhalla. in the future, Ubisoft should make all their AC games this size because SMALLER WORLDS WITH MORE CONTENT WILL ALWAYS BE BETTER THAN BIG EMPTY SPACES!!!!!!!!!! my biggest gripe with the game is that once i killed 3 out of 5 of the story villains, the game wouldn't let me progress the story???? and wouldn't tell me what i needed to do to get the investigations to pop up???? i assume they wanted to me to finish up side quests or something???? and i just didn't want to do any of that lol so that was the end of my Mirage experience. i got my 40 achievements and called it a day.....and went back to playing AC Odyssey. overall, if you've played Odyssey or Origins, you don't NEED to play this. its the same old AC with the minor touches and fixes. the parkour controls can be frustrating at times. the story is mediocre but tolerable. its the AC you know and love. show your loyalty and give it a try for $39.99 or less IF YOU MUST....but Origins and Odyssey are absolutely better games in every way. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. working properly and no damage to the cd or packaging. feels like an imitation of assassins creed but its more assassins creed than odyssey and valhalla 👍👍
