  • Great, affordable board for a quality system
Style: Z690 Steel Legend
We're basically on day 2 of this machine, so it may still end in a fireball, but so far I'm very pleased. Lots of SATA connections for my compulsive collection of drives, two nvme sata connectors (with built-in heat syncs) if I decide to add a second nvme drive. Two m.2 connectors for other expansion (I used a wifi/bluetooth card I already had, so didn't try those). 7.1 audio onboard — now I'll have to upgrade my sound system to take advantage of it. ... show more

  • Awesome Motherboard.. So Glad I bought it.
Lots of Great features on this motherboard. I bought it to put a New I7 14700KF cpu on it. I USB Flashed the BIOS with the mbrd only connected to the 24 pin power plug. Then it was ready for a 14th Gen CPU. The GPU Brace to keep larger Video cards from sagging. It has RGB Software built into the BIOS. 3 ARGB Headers on the motherboard. Read my ARGB Team Force 4000 memory properly. Great Board to build around. Love that it has Wifi & Bluetooth. So I can connect my BT Headset to it and game at night without disturbing my wife. Many Great Features. The XMP set it at 4000 and it works GREAT. (I Tested that ram in MY 3 year old Z370 mbrd and it would not stay at 4000) Worked great on this Asrock Z690 Extreme Wifi 6 motherboard. ... show more

  • Very solid Mother board!
Style: Z690 Pro RS
Going into this build I didn't really know what to expect, It's my first time ever building a pc + I'm using an Alienware case that's old. Besides that, I've never touched a motherboard/ pc component. So going into this being afraid is an understatement. For the price the board is really solid, I tried doing research as much as possible, so if you are a first time pc builder. One piece of information I can give you is that this board fits Intel's 12th series CPU to its most current 14 series. If you need to check this in the future, search up ASRock z690 Pro RS on google and go into their website. From there go to support and click the CPU support list. It will show you all the types of compatibility it has. Another good thing about the board is that once I got into the BIOS, it was super super super simple. They literally have a mode called "easy mode" to simplify the user interface. From there you can monitor your Fans RPM and other things. ONE IMPORTANT THING, If you are using an AIO (all in one water cooler) YOU NEED NEED NEED, to go into advanced setting in the BIOS and going to "H/W Monitor'', and change which ever port you had to W_PUMP, by default it's going to be CPUFAN_1 or whatever number you connect it to. If you don't do this your CPU will overheat since it's not recognizing it as a water pump. One last thing I recommend while you're still in the advanced settings is to go into the advance with a star next to it, click "Chipset Config" and scroll down to " Turn on onboard led in s5" and disable this. If you don't disable this, then your RGB lights on the board wont turn off after you've shut down completely. I will include photos to make it a little easier to understand PROS: -Very budget friendly for 12th gen-current gen CPU's -Nice looking motherboard -Nice RGB lights -Simple User interface -Booting up windows a pop up shows to install recent driver CONS: -Some settings like XMP 2.0 require a little digging -Motherboard RGB lights stay on if you don't change a setting Overall a really solid budget motherboard ... show more

  • Great motherboard, mine came open-box and defective :(
Style: Z690 Steel Legend
This motherboard was fantastic. I just built my first custom PC, this was my second motherboard, as we thought my first was faulty (I actually ended up receiving a defective CPU which was the cause of my issues). It's absolutely lovely, and is geared towards DIY custom builds. The instruction manual is extremely thorough, with photos and diagrams, parts lists, super specific details, and even a DVD (which I assume had more setup info on it, but I didn't use it so I'm not certain). The package came with a ton of extra hardware for different setup options, and it came with a little keychain replica of the board, which I thought was a cute little detail. The board itself has RGBs around the entire PCB, making it light up my case really nicely, it has 4 separate POST-Status error lights, it has a ton of slots for parts making it highly configurable and customizable. The I/O panel has a wide range of ports, as well as a Flash-BIOS button (which is great for a beginner, because I couldn't begin to know how to update BIOS otherwise in the event that my PC didn't POST), and the board has a handful of headers for front-panel case ports. This board was lovely to build with and has great features. Unfortunately I received mine damaged, it was a previous return, and I received it open-box. After replacing my CPU (which, again, was faulty from the start, causing my PC not to POST), my PC still didn't POST, and I had to go back to my original motherboard. I would've loved for this board to work out, as it was fantastic, but I'll be keeping ASRock in mind for future builds. ... show more

  • Good value for money
Style: Z690 Phantom Gaming-ITX/TB4
I wanted a nice new ITX motherboard to make a compact desktop for my office. I put in Crucial DDR5 memory and Samsung 990 NVMe M.2 drives and it works great - very pleased.
