  • Better than newegg
I purchased a similar board from newegg and it arrived DOA. This board is great and thanks to amazon I was able to enjoy finally building my pc. Anyways the board does its job and I haven't had any issues except for one thing I learned: you have to be very careful with the gpu release lever as too much pressure in the wrong area can break it. Try using a pencil eraser and gently push the lever down. You will not hear a click or feel feedback so you have to look to see if the lever went down. Overall the mb is great I have not had any issues with wifi or bluetooth. The antennas hold their position and perform. Here is some of the things I installed: Cpu 7700x ryzen 7 Gpu 7800xt 1 Tb crucial m.2 w stock heatsink 500gb WD m.2 w bequiet heatsink Case asus ap201 ... show more

  • Did not boot
So it turns out, I either got a board that was dead on arrival, or I got a board that has at least something defective that causes it to not boot. ASRock, however, has zero documentation or any kind of record of this issue happening or how to go about fixing it. Meanwhile, I'm stuck with a $160 frizbee that may as well look good in the trash because it quite simply doesn't work. It also doesn't help that I distinctly remember installing everything correctly, by the books, to the letter; AND, I spoke with someone who is very experienced with PC building over the phone about this and they were completely stumped. At this point, I'll be returning this piece of junk very soon and getting a motherboard that I know actually works out of the box. ... show more

  • Decent board
Decent board. Ran great until my power supply died and had to go through the RMA process for the motherboard and processor. Which was relatively pain free, other than being without my new computer and having to pull my old one back out... Didn't have the money to buy a new power supply and wanted to wait to be able to upgrade the GPU, so after coming back the RMA parts went into my closet. Well, was able to recently order a new GPU and PSU and pulled out the RMA'd parts to build my computer to discover the board ASRock sent back wasn't the same board I sent them and it had bent socket pins. Contacted their support and they told me too bad, bent socket pins voids the warranty and I should have checked the RMA when it arrived... which why would ASRock send back a defective board!? Disappointed because now the board is a paperweight. ... show more

  • It arrived in a mess but it works It arrived in a mess but it works
It arrived in a mess but it works. When I received it, the box was battered, screws all scattered, the manual all folded, however when I assembled it it worked, not without first having to deal with some problems, first was that it didn't give me an image because of the position of the RAM memories, since you have to use them in ports 2 and 4, something that I never understood, since even if I put only one RAM memory it doesn't turn on, I tried a single module in each of the ports and nothing, it didn't give me an image, until luckily I put them in 2 and 4 the two modules or by magic it gave an image, I have no idea today what would happen if I put the 4 modules since I don't have more, I hope it works in due time, the second problem is the PCIe x4 port, as of today I don't think that any graphic card won't obstruct the PCIe x4 port because it is very close to the graphics card port, so it is basically unusable, luckily it has an additional PCIe x16 port where you can put another one component, another detail that has already been practically corrected is that at the beginning it took a long time to give an image, this has been corrected after several BIOS updates, I think it lacks more ARGB ports for more comfort (personal taste). In short, it is good, but it has details to correct, it is silent and I have not had any major problems with it. If I had to choose between another Asrock or try another brand, I think I would definitely go for trying another brand with an AM5 socket. The good thing is that when I bought it it was not as expensive as it is now, it is incredible that after time the prices go up instead of down. ... show more
