I needed an AM4 motherboard that would support ECC RAM. And this was the cheapest one. Seems to work pretty well. A little disappointed that the IOMMU groups ended up being so limited, but I think that's more to do with the chipset than the board. Everything seems to work as it should. Gotta love the little mini-itx form factor. I got rid of the included A+E Key M2 wifi adapter, and added a M2 -> Intel i226v NIC adapter. I need a 2.5Gpbs ethernet port a lot more than I need ac wifi. ... show more

Worked right out of the box and was brand new. Looks quite beautiful compared to other Mini ITX boards. The online manual states the ram only Overclocks to ~4799mhz but the bios allows up to 6000mhz. Not sure how that’s possible on DDR4 but that’s neat. The CPU can be manually adjusted as well. Not like some other boards but does get some extra power out of it. Good basic board if you need an ITX

Not many options for AM4 ITX boards these days, this one fit the bill and worked perfectly right out of the box. Booted up first try, got into the BIOS without a fuss and set the RAM profile and then enabled SAM. (which does require disabling CSM boot support) Used the BIOS function to wipe the SSD I was using prior to a fresh windows install. The BIOS seems to have a good amount of options, this was for a basic build though so did not try to use any of the more in depth tuning functions. The one I received had the 2.20 BIOS version (purchased in 9/23) which supports most CPU's listed on ASRocks site other than the X3D. The board itself seems pretty well made for a more entry level offering. The built in Wifi / BT seems to work well. It has a heatsink with thermal pad for the NVME slot which was a nice inclusion. Dual chassis fan headers (as well as CPU fan of course). I would have liked to see a metal reinforced PCIe slot as many GPU's these days are so heavy, but overall I cant complain for the price. I'm sure there are better (more expensive) options out there but if you are needing an ITX board for a reasonable price look no further. ... show more

Does not POST

I have tried literally every combination known to man here. I cannot get any type of POST, Beep, or any semblance of life from this board. I've tried different RAM, Video Cards, PSUs.. The Board and the CPU are brand new but it's definitely the board that has issues though as every piece works on other machines, including CPU. As for why I cant get it to work (figured it out): As for the CPU, I have gotten the AMD Ryzen 3 3200G. I mention this because previous reviews state that the 3200G is a 2nd gen, therefore not supported by this board. This may have been true at some point, but ASRocks own documentation states that this board "Supports AMD AM4 Socket Ryzen™ 3000, 3000 G-Series, 4000 G-Series, 5000 and 5000 G-Series Desktop Processors". On top of that, they specifically list the 3200G as supported in their "Supported CPUs" list. This said, the 3200G was *NOT* supported until Jan 2024 when there was the BIOS update released. I purchased my board in in Feb and if it's not the right BIOS version - I have no way to update it without buying *another* cpu to make the update. Sadly I took waaayyy too long to figure this out and I should have just returned the board right away when I couldn't get it to POST. ... show more
