UPDATE: The seller promptly reached out with a fix! The poles that hold up the headboard have to have the metal hinge portions facing in. That should solve the slat issue. Very pleased with the customer service and the overall quality of the bedframe for the price! ORIGINAL: Would be a nice bedframe if the slats touched the velcro edges. Can't beat the price for a bed like this. Nothing special but it's great for my son's room. He's a big kid and tough on things. This seems sturdy enough for him. Extremely easy to put together. Took me about half hour. A fifteen year old could probably put it together in that time.
