This is a good old fashioned combo bike lock. It's not rocket science and works exactly as it should which is awesome. You can use it for a variety of things which makes it versatile. Security wise, this is a deterrent, but not a heavy duty high security lock. The price is reasonable and this lock serves it's purpose very well. Overall, I'd rate this lock slightly over 4 stars for durability, functionality, practicality, and value. If you are looking for a a cheap, affordable, combo lock that's easy to use, this is a great choice.

Okay so I just finished working with this, and I can tell you a little bit about what to expect! First of all, take a picture of what the number is when you first start the experience! Second of all, I would encourage you to make a little video of yourself setting it, unless you're much better with numbers than I am! I'll be honest, I'm notoriously awful at remembering numbers, but I thought I would try to set this lock by myself. I ended up having to go to one of my sons telling him that I had broken my new toy! Ha ha. He was a sweetheart and said it would be okay but when he realized what I was talking about m he said," ooh!!" Which was to imply that it's not a great thing to forget what lock number you chose! To be fair, I did not select the number that it ended up being, and I don't even know how the number came up, but him and my nearby daughter remembered something at the same time.. When the lock is open you can figure out the code by turning one number at a time as you push it in. If it slides in you've gotten the first number on the right side. And then you work on the second number and if you get that right it will slide in also. And you keep going along figuring out the numbers that way! Thankfully we were able to figure out the code, but I was sweating bullets there for a minute! So, definitely write down the numbers you're trying and and take note of what you're doing, or, if you like me, videotape yourself doing it so you can rewatch the tape. Catch any mistake. I have no complaints about this ... Except about user error! 😉 It does have a very strong perfumey chemically smell. And it bugs my allergies, but it's slightly better than what is usually produced for overseas products. Products. I'm sure this will start smelling okay in a few days, especially if I leave it out in the sun or stick it into a bag of coal to remove the odors. The product itself is a high quality product. It's it's about as fat as my pointy finger around the quality. I can't think of the proper word at this moment. And inside the metal is Center. I can't tell you the thickness. It looks like it's about a quarter of an inch. You can kind of see it through the dark plastic covering. This lock will work just fine for most settings. Especially if you're using it in a highly public place or at school. Of course there are always a few people in society who will find any means to take what they want, that might mean a bolt cutter. And that would probably work on this just fine. But for most of us, this will be highly effective at keeping people from easily stealing and unlocked bike on the school grounds, or elsewhere. Substance to it and feels heavy duty. It comes with something for the handlebars. A way to hold your bike lock so you don't have to stick it in your pocket, and I think it's wonderful that they went to this detail! It slides in and snaps from one direction. To get it to come off of the bike lock holder for your handlebar, you have to press a button and even cite one way or the other. Inside of the hole. There is a piece of rubbery plastic to help grip the bar. It comes with the screws and nuts necessary to apply it to the handlebars. I really appreciate this, ... They only problem I'm going to have now is which of my sons gets to use it on their bike! haha! 😅 I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again! It does come with directions, which I share, but, I found them to seem easy enough, but then I went and locked myself out of this, so either I did something wrong or maybe a step was skipped. I don't know. Again, numbers aren't my thing, but in the end it all worked out, and I'm a happy biker! 😄

This "Electric Bike Lock" will work with more than just e-bikes. It's a basic 5-digit combination bicycle lock with a resettable combination feature. Unlike the photo displayed in the product description, the lock I received contains 5 dial wheels (not 4). It also comes with a basic mounting bracket for the lock for attachment onto a bicycle frame (nominally 1 inch diameter and larger). The safety cable is made of steel with a thick vinyl jacket. The cable portion measures 4.5 feet (not including the combination lock mechanism). The product appears to be well made and feels heavy and durable. The 5 dial wheels don't wobble when rotated and it's difficult to sense when a wheel falls into its gate (thus making it harder to pick). The package includes a piece of paper containing color photos and instructions for resetting the factory combination of 0-0-0-0-0 to one of your choosing. While this is your typical cable bicycle lock that can be also used to secure field sports equipment, gate closures, tool boxes, etc, it may be a better value since most other locks at this price point have just 4 digits.

We r returning bike :( does not go faster than 22 mph, fully charged battery and only goes anywhere from 10 miles to 17 miles. Brakes have already warn out after one week, pedal is hanging , kick stand has fallen off. Goes super slow with two people on bike, total wt of both was 275 . Bike pedal also rubs on bike. If u want to return bike, buyer will have to pay return postage.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this bike lock. It’s noticeably sturdier than the cable lock that came with my electric bike, and it gives me a lot more confidence when I have to leave my bike unattended for a while. The cable feels thick and durable, and the combination mechanism turns smoothly and is easy to set up. One feature I really appreciated is that this lock uses the same style mounting bracket as the original lock that came with my e-bike, so I was able to attach it to the existing mount already on my bike without any modifications. Even better, this lock also includes an extra mounting bracket, which is a nice bonus if you want to install it on another bike or replace an older mount. Overall, this has been a great upgrade over my factory lock. It’s well made, convenient to carry on the bike, and offers much better peace of mind. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a solid replacement or backup bike lock.
