We replaced an older metal bed frame with this one, and the difference was immediately noticeable. It feels much more substantial, is very sturdy, and feels like an actual piece of furniture instead of something purely functional. The design is simple, but in a clean, intentional way that gives the room a warmer look. Assembly was straightforward, and the finished frame feels sturdy and well made. The mattress is supported evenly and the frame stays quiet during normal use. It's not too low to be hard to get out of, and the mattress fit on it perfectly.     • Solid Construction, But the Mattress Support Could Be Better
Overall, I'm pleased with this bed frame. Assembly was fairly straightforward, and once everything was put together, I was impressed with the overall construction. The bamboo frame feels sturdy, well-made, and solid enough to handle everyday use without any concerns. My one complaint is that there isn't much built into the design to keep a box spring from shifting around. My son's box spring would gradually move out of position because there wasn't really anything holding it in place. To solve the problem, we ended up using zip ties to secure the box spring to the center support. It worked perfectly and the bed has been rock solid ever since, but it did require cutting into the bottom felt covering of the box spring to make it happen. Despite that issue, the frame itself is sturdy, attractive, and provides excellent support. If you're using just a mattress, you may never notice the problem. For those using a box spring, you may need to get a little creative to keep everything in place. Overall, it's a good product and worthy of 4 stars. ... show more

The quality of bamboo in any piece is going to be worth your while because of its good sturdiness, known longevity and consistent ability to remain stable. It’s capable of withstanding the extremes and this bed is no less. It came with instructions that are easy to follow and quite frankly one is the easiest beds I’ve put together so far. This bed was for my son who transitioned from a loft bed to a regular twin. The height of the bed still gives room for storage underneath. We’re using the bed with a box spring for more stability overall but the bed is a solid choice all on its own, I highly recommend this bed and I’m looking forward to the long lasting quality. ... show more

The fact that I don't need a box spring saved me over $100, and the metal slats provide supportive coverage for my mattress. My 8-year-old son jumps on his bed constantly, and this frame hasn't creaked or shifted. Assembly took about 30 minutes. I really like this twin bed frame. The bamboo wood gives it a more beautiful look than a plain metal frame, and it feels simple but still solid. My queen mattress fits on it right, and I like that I don’t need a box spring with it. The height is good because it doesn’t sit too low, but it also doesn’t make the bed feel too high.
