I was a bit nervous the guitar would show up broken when opening the box but was relieved to see it was in great shape especially when it was a birthday gift for my child . a few small flows in the plant but not noticible great guitar for strings beginner players we haven't tested on tuning the guitar yet but it seems to play pretty good and held up great on its first test run playing so hopefully won't have no problems when time to time it in right on sound all in all its a great guitar in looks playing and size my kid loves it update the guitar seems to not be tunable tried 4 times to get it in tune the guitar doesn't sound the greatest and every time we tighten the strings u can hear the pins crackling and popping it's nerve racking being on edge trying to tune it and not know if something going to snack on it so debating on what to do with it still seems like a good looking guitar but actually getting into playing it not so great so far on playing part the casting bag doesn't fit this guitar way to small and the tuner does not work right ... show more

This is a beautiful acoustic guitar! I love that it comes with a bag, extra strings, picks, and a digital tuner! The only thing I would change is to have better quality strings. They seem a bit cheap and are not as flexible as higher quality strings. Other than that it sounds amazing and it is a great starter guitar! ... show more

I have been playing music for almost 40 years and can do my own setups and know quite a bit about if an inexpensive guitar is up worthy of playing for beginners or amateurs. This guitar is the worse thing I have seen in many many years. Do not buy for anyone who you want to learn how to play. It will discourage them. The intonation is so bad on this guitar it is impossible to play a chord. The Low E string is the worst. The tuners are crap as well. Something like this will frustrate anyone wanting to play since it sounds so bad. On top of that, you cannot take this to a regular Amazon return center and send it back, you have to pay for the shipping. ... show more

    • High "Action" Requires Strong Fingers
The tone of this guitar is great and it is beautiful, but I had a hard time with it. Two experienced musicians told me that the height of the strings from the frets (the "action") on this guitar is the reason I find it painful to play. I do have arthritis and I am a beginner, so I did not know why I found it so painful to press down on a chord. If you have strong fingers and are more experienced, you might not have a problem. ... show more

I am extremely happy with this guitar I haven't played in 25 years the last guitar I played was an ovation I figured I would introduce myself with a low end model great I would upgrade You got something on playing professionally and the way this guitar sounds I am thoroughly impressed The first Fred had a little bit of a burr on the end I took a metal fingernail file Took a few swipes at it and it's perfect I highly recommend this package ... show more
