We could not be happier with this recliner power lift! It arrived in 2 boxes and assembly could not have been easier! I think I glanced at the instructions once!! That easy! Needless to say that we are planning on getting a 2nd one! I highly recommend this power lift recliner wholeheartedly. The material is soft and comfy and the massage and heat are great! It's not for a big or tall person, but it's perfect for me. I'm 5 foot, 145 lbs. Be aware that when you assemble it, the wires for the controller could be inside the arm. Was not hard for my 80 year old husband to put together. I've had it about 3 weeks now, and it works very well. Leather is soft. I enjoy the vibrating and heat. ... show more

    • Factory assembly sewed connecting cord into the batting

Once it was assembled, the chair is lovely and functional. However, the directions were not easy to follow and or clear. If my brother didn’t have factory assembly experience, we never would’ve realized that the cord to plug the chair into the outlet was sewn underneath the batting on the bottom of the chair. Because he knew where the cord most likely was, he cut s slit into the batting, looked inside and found the cord and threaded it out the proper channel of the chair. Fortunately, all ended well and the chair is much appreciated by my elderly father, who loves the vibrating massage, heat and standing assistance 👍 ... show more

This is a really solid chair, one which I am hoping will last as long as I do, as opposed to cheaper chairs which tend to fall apart after a couple of years. It's a beautiful chair, very comfortable, and it not only power reclines, but it also powers to lift me out of it, should that become necessary at some point. Except that it doesn't recline all the way to a 180-degree position, it's very similar to a more expensive chair made by the same manufacturer yet costs about 200 dollars less. It's real leather, well-built, operates very smoothly, and is just a great power reclining chair. I'm 6'3", 225 pounds, and it fits me almost perfectly. My ankles protrude from the end by about 4 inches, but I protrude from almost every chair by more than that, so it's not a problem. If you're looking for a power reclining chair, buy this one. You'll be glad you did! ... show more
