We have purchased several mattresses in our lives. Some cheap, some super expensive (like thousands of dollars), some boxed and some spring. We decided to go for this one when we saw it on sale and bought the 12”, California king. This is BY FAR the best mattress we’ve ever bought and we are SO glad we went for it. My husband has nerve damage from an accident and since sleeping on this mattress, his pain has been reduced by more than half. I am usually a very light sleeper, tossing and turning all night, waking up every time he moves. With the mattress, I fall asleep and stay asleep until my alarm goes off. It is firm, supportive, and molds perfectly to your body. My husband and I are both on the heavier side, and nearly two months in, this mattress is still perfect. No signs of drooping or sagging. Out of the box it filled right up, and even though there was a very slight plastic smell from the wrapping, it was gone by the time we made the bed. We let it breathe and expand several days, but honestly a couple hours after opening it had already filled out beautifully. I can not recommend this mattress enough. If you are on the fence because you’ve been let down by previous boxed mattresses, take the plunge anyways. It’s amazing. And the price is unbelievable.     • Feels as Good as the Most Expensive Bed-In-Box Brands but at a Fraction of the Cost!

First of all, here's what you guys should know before I get started. Before I bought this bed, I had a Lull Mattress that cost me over $600 altogether. I loved that bed with a passion and was the greatest bed I ever used..... until I got this one. See, I moved at the beginning of last year (2020) and I lost my Lull Mattress in the process. I still don't know how or why it happened, but I lost the mattress and I needed a new one for my new room. However, being short on money with all my other moving expenses and stuff at the time, I looked for a great alternative; this was it. For being roughly a third of the price I bought this mattress. It shipped quick and arrived in box just like the Lull Mattress I once had. Unpacking and expanding it was the same process. Just take it out of the box, unroll it, and cut the plastic. Boom, watch as magic unfolds before your eyes as the mattress takes its form. The bed will increase inch by inch and will reach its complete size and firmness in about 12-24 hours. A thing to note, however, is that this bed does still have a slight chemical smell to it for the first couple days before it wears down. I do not know if that is the smell of the foam itself or the way it was packaged, but just know that the smell is unavoidable for the first couple of nights. Anyway, the bed is incredible. I know I already mentioned that, but it is worth repeating. Like a gift from the Heaven of ultimate value and comfort, this was exactly that. Crafted by the angels, it feels like a cloud once you lay down upon it and you will get the urge to play a harp and wear a halo over your head shortly after. It truly is amazing but in all seriousness, I love the bed because it is exactly what I like. Mind you, what I like may not be what everyone else likes. This bed is entirely 100% foam, but not all of it is the same type of foam. The main foundation of the bed is a rigid, firm foam that makes up the overall support of the bed and in the middle there is like a half-and-half type of foam, not the cream you put in your coffee, but it is like a middle ground between the softness of the top layer of memory foam and the firmness of the support foam. Then, the top layer as mentioned in a shallow-but-adequate layer of soft, high quality memory foam. Not the type that you would immediately sink in, but the kind that slowly/gently sinks in and then slowly rises back up to retain it's shape once your weight has been removed. All these layers are what makes this bed absolutely breathtaking. When you first sit on it, as if you were sitting on the edge, it may appear to sink in a lot, but once you stretch your body across it, you will feel the firmness of the bed overall and the support it has in keeping your body in place. Now, I know some people prefer super soft beds that re-align your spine to the equivalent of an 80 year old man, and I know some prefer to sleep on beds as hard as concrete, but this is the best middle ground. It has the comfort of softer beds but without the back aches you would have when waking up in the morning, and it has the support and firmness of a giant hand cradling your tiny body. So, I overall really enjoy the bed. It has the exact same form and build as my Lull Mattress BUT at a much more affordable price. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality brand name like mattress who do not want to spend too much money. And for those wondering if the lower price means cheap quality, worry not. These are NOTHING like the horrible cheap foam mattresses you can get at Wal-Mart for like $90 bucks. These are supreme quality and there is simply nothing else like it at this price factor. If I was to have any complaints, it is that the foam can get a bit warm during the summer time as it is a good insulator, but other than that it is the bed I would recommend above all.     • Exactly What I Needed

Not everyone likes a firm mattress, but for some people it is essential. This 12 inch Chime Express Memory Foam Mattress is essential for me; FIRM. While it is firm and does not rock, shake or move in any way, the top is still soft so that your body is cushioned. I have been using an air mattress for years (other than an assignment to the middle east where I was issued a bed) and I had gotten used to the flexibility; I could fill or deflate to suit my needs. However, while the air mattress is very flexible, easy to move and replace and contrary to experiences had by others, mine were pretty enduring, it was time for me to get a real bed. I purchased a bedroom suite and needed a mattress. I first started with one of the hybrid inner spring/memory foam mattresses. It came with amazing reviews, however, I felt as if I was being sucked into the mattress. It threatened to overwhelm me (picture a YouTube video of a dog running off a porch into some snow and sinking down into the snow until the dog is no longer visible), this was my exact experience with the hybrid inner spring/memory foam mattress. The bed was so soft, so forgiving, that I not only could not sleep I could not find a comfortable position in which to just lay down and relax. When I gave up after about 5 hours of tossing and turning to sleep on the couch, I found that my muscles all over my body had seized or become so sore that my best option was a very hot bath to release them. On the other hand, this 12 inch Chime Express Memory Foam Mattress has provided some of the best nights' sleep I have ever had. It arrived on time, the delivery guy was very polite and it was a lot lighter than the hybrid innerspring/memory foam mattress I had purchased first. It unrolled easily, expanded (not as quickly as the hybrid mattress) and had no noticeable smell. I placed it on the frame and left it for about 12 hours. Then made it up and it was just fine. I gave the other mattress away just to get rid of it. I am actually contemplating buying a second one of the 12 inch Chime Express Memory Foam mattresses for the guest bedroom. I can put a thick topper on it for guests that think it too firm. This mattress is not for those that want softness, but for those that need or desire a truly firm mattress, this is the one. ... show more
