I wore these shoes for long time before writing this. These sneakers are very comfortable and lightweight. Almost no "break in time." You barely notice you're wearing a steel toe shoe. Easy to slip on and off. To me, they are accurate to size. I did take the insoles out and put in Dr Scholls insoles. The steel toe piece can move around in the shoe. I have to kneel down a lot for my job, and the steel toe piece often moved around doing this, causing me to have to stop and readjust the steel toe slightly to keep walking. The adjustable laces need to be readjusted often. The laces lock doesn't stay in place very well, so you'll notice they become looser and looser and you'll need to retighten them. They are NOT non-slip. I don't need non-slip for my job, so it doesn't bother me, but they certainly aren't going to stop you from slipping. They only lasted for about 6 months for me before they starting falling apart. The inside materal wore away where the heel is, there are small holes in the top fabric. Sure, it's fixable if you have shoe repair stickers, but even with those, the wear & tear is a lot for only wearing them for 6 months.

First day wearing these and I have no complaints. I’m a plumber and go through work shoes/boots like crazy so I’m curious to see how these hold up. I will give an update in a few weeks if I remember to. So far so good though. Ps. The picture is after my first day wearing them **UPDATE** so these held up roughly two months. This is what they look like now lol. I mean I guess they are worth buying. I feel like it is hard to find a good comfortable durable shoe that is affordable these days. The steel toe plate came out of my right shoe today.

I tried 4-5 different pairs of steel toe sneakers and didn’t like any of them, until I tried these. I was hesitant on buying them because of some of the reviews, but I don’t do a ton of walking at my job (I’m a warehouse packer so I stand in the same spot) so I decided to try them. They are awesome. They look amazing, almost like Adidas shoes. They are pretty comfy, but I’ll probably get a Dr. Scholl’s insole to replace the one they came with. So far they seem to be good in terms of durability, but I’ve only worn them for a few shifts. I’ll definitely update if anything changes! Update 7/22: These have been pretty good, but the soles are wearing out and aren't very grippy anymore, and both shoes have holes forming in the heels from seams splitting. This is from approximately 40 hours/week for the past ~3 months. The build quality could be better, but I am here to buy them again for the looks. Lol Update AGAIN 7/22: Nah, I’m done with these. I have decided not to re-purchase. Since the holes in the heels have begun to form about two weeks ago, these shoes have lost any comfort or support they barely had in the first place. I work about 8-10 hours/shift and my feet/heels are absolutely throbbing and cramping by the end of my shift, even with brand new insoles. I do have plantar fasciitis, so keep that in mind. I’m definitely sticking to a better brand. These look nice but they’re a waste of money and have destroyed my feet. 😞

Before I start this review, let it be known that I am writing it only after wearing it for 10ish minutes at home. So I really want to like these shoes. Here are the pros and cons I've discovered thus far. Pros: - very lightweight - insane amount of grip on the soles - plenty of room for the toes (unlike other steel/composit toe shoes) - unlike most safety shoes, these ones appear to fit to size (no need to order large, unless you have skinny feet like me -- see cons below) Cons: - as can be seen from photo #2, there is no back ankle support (where the shoe slipes inward toward the ankle after the heel) - from photo #1, these shoes dont have tongues - the two points above mean that the shoe can feel loose on your feet when lifting your foot up to walk (no material for the shoe to "hook" into your foot), especially so if your foot is skinny (and thus harder to lace) Obviously, my cons would appear to outweigh my pros (at least for me), but, like I said, I really want to like these shoes. As such, since I can expense these to my employer, I will be wearing them at work for the week (~13 hours of standing for 4 days). At that point, I will either stick with what I have or order a smaller pair and donate these current shoes. Update: I have now worn these shoes for a 13 hour shift. Here are my newer thoughts. - The lack of a heel "back" makes my foot "flop" out everytime I move, but I grew used to it (my last work shoes were boots, so I had some bias) -- several days later, I now enjoy the fit - I actually had to loosen my laces a tad throughout the night, but I still had to keep me "tight" to the point where I was still folding the shoes to create "tongues" where a normal shoe tongue would be - The insoles of the shoes are certainly thin. At times I thought I was wearing converse due to how much I could feel the texture of the floor beneath me. I will be looking into getting a better pair on insoles for these shoes. - Words cannot explain how light these shoes are. I feel like I am wearing regular fly-knit tennis shoes. Update #2: I just replaced the insoles with Superfeet Blue. Turns out their "women's size 6.5-8" is the EXACT same size as my shoes, of which I ordered a 7.5 in women's. So now we know that the shoes run large.

Ok lots of mixed reviews here and there. Here's my take. I'm doing at least 12 hour shifts lots of moving, lifting heavy things and lots of stairs. I'm supposed to wear steel toe boots but honestly with being that active a pair of sneaker type shoes would be more comfortable. I looked up "steel toe sneakers" on Amazon after seeing steel toe sneakers at Walmart for $30. It would be perfect!.... but my job requires the shoes be brown and walmarts sneakers versions are black. No go. On Amazon there's lots of options. I don't care about being stylish so don't think about style. It's work. I just want a more comfy sneaker than a thick heavy boot. It's texas. Over 100 degrees daily outside, why wear clunky boots when this is an option. So far I've noticed they run larger, mind you that my feet are more narrow. I can't speak for wide feet people. If you've worn yeezys or seen then you know they're not made for people with wide feet so I assume these aren't either. I got a half size smaller and it's perfect. The back heel isn't snug but it doesn't affect the shoe too much. The laces don't give you a great lockdown but it's alright with comfy socks. They look like knock off yeezys which I think was the point. But like I said don't expect style. You're buying $40 steel toe sneakers. Expect the comfort of walmart shoes and you won't be disappointed. I'm not comparing these to the comfort of my nikes, new balance, or expensive shoes. I would have purchased walmart boots. The price was my selling point.

Lasted me about 6 months working at IKEA (retail store/warehouse floor) about 4-5 times per week. Pros: No need to break them in. Very comfortable and light. Plenty of room near toes. My feet tend to swell so this was a nice bonus. Cons: They do slide on dusty surfaces. I've almost fallen a few times, more than I'd like. Wish they would have lasted longer. The insole started to deteriorate and the pieces would get stuck on my socks. Uncomfortable but easy to fix in buying replacement inserts. An added expense which is why it's a con. Overall, I enjoyed these but decided to buy a different pair. Deciding factor: I have to pull and push heavy pallets so slipping and sliding just wasn't functional for me.
