    • Great Product, Easy to "Assemble/Unroll"

Background: Had an air mattress which I had been sleeping on for months. Air mattress developed a hole in a seam which I was unsuccessful in repairing, despite several creative attempts. Slept on a 2" thick exercise mat (21" wide). Mattress arrived a day earlier than expected. Which saved the day, one less night of sleeping on the exercise mat. Didn't know what to expect after readying reviews of other mattresses where customers received mattresses which were dirty, clearly had been returned, had bugs, etc. A large (about 5'4" standing up), heavy box arrived on Friday. After cleaning the outside of the box, I opened a small end and stood the box up. Easily slid the box up and off the mattress. Next step was to get it from the front room to the bedroom. It was far too heavy for me to lift it up and carry it. Thought about grabbing one end and dragging it down the hall. Didn't want to tear the plastic in the process and get the mattress dirty. Have a small flatbed cart and used it (with some effort) to maneuver the mattress down the hall and into the room. Only half of the mattress fit onto the cart, so had to lift the other end and push the cart in the right direction. A little tricky. Also, had to pause a few times and adjust the position of the mattress or cart. Once on the bedroom, manhandled the rolled up mattress onto the bedframe. Made sure I place it so it would roll out from the foot to the head. Followed the directions - carefully cut the outer bag, making sure not to cut the inner bag. Though this worked, it was a little confusing and difficult to tell where the outer bag ended and the inner bag began. Then went back and carefully cut away the inner bag. Having said that, all went well. As soon as the inner bag was cut, the mattress rolled right out and began "inflating". Was ready to use right away. It was clean all around, no bugs. No odors. Pros: 1. Worked as described - rolled right out. 2. Clean. 3. No odors (VOCs, off-gassing) 4. True to size (queen) 5. Easy to move exactly into place on the bedframe (shift a little to one side or the other or more towards headboard, etc.) Cons: 1. Heavy and bulky - Would be easier to move around with two people. But still manageable, with some effort, by myself. 2. Mattress is soft - I am used to a firmer mattress. However, This is much better than the exercise mat I was sleeping on. Note: After two nights on it, am adjusting to softness. Still prefer a firmer mattress, but this is a significant improvement over my prior sleeping circumstances. Plan to keep the mattress. No comment on customer service as I had no issues which required contacting them. Would definitely recommend. Will update in a few weeks after more time sleeping on the new mattress. ... show more

I wanted to wait a little bit before I reviewed the mattress. Get over the phase of transition from the old one to the new one, and see for sure how the mattress affects my sleep quality. I can't even tell you how much I love this mattress. I use to be tired all the time, I had back pain so bad that I could barely stand for long. My energy level is getting better and better each day as I get a MUCH better quality sleep than I was before. I look forward to going to bed now, instead of avoiding it as much as I could. My back pain has significantly improved!!! The mattress is so thick and soft! I sink right in and am out like a light. That never happens for me! I have insomina! Great quality mattress. Very comfortable and feels high-end. Mattress comes vacuum packed like most mattresses these days. Can back to full poof pretty quickly, my dad was able to sleep on it about 5 hours after opening. I was suspicious as I have never ordered a hybrid mattress that came vacuum packed, but it retained its shape and support wonderfully. After retaining its full shape, measured right at 13" thick. I wanted to like this mattress so badly! Here’s the details: I’m a plus size woman (245 pounds) with bulging c-spine discs and fibromyalgia. My life is full of pain but I really wanted to improve my neck and shoulder pain with this purchase of a new mattress. My previous mattress did me good for almost 7 years but I should have gotten rid of it a year ago. It was a hybrid mattress that helped my pain because it was soft but sturdy. My review on this mattress: Firstly, the mattress is beautiful but lacks in quality. It’s really bouncy which shocked me. I literally bounce around on it and I’m a big girl! With all the bounce, comes the lack of support that larger people need or people with bad backs hopes for (both in my case). It reminds me of my bed when I was a kid (I’m almost 52). The first couple of weeks, I really like the very thin layer of cushion/memory foam on top of the mattress but it seems to have disappeared because I’m already feeling pressure from the springs. I’ve given this mattress and my body approximately a month to adjust and I’ve ended up with very sore tendon/muscle in my back on the lower left. I sleep on my left side so I guess it’s safe to assume, the pain is from this mattress. UGH! I’ve added a bamboo mattress pad and I can still feel the pressure from the springs when I’m lying on my side. It lacks any support (hence all the springs and being so bouncy). This would probably it be a great bed for kids or teens but for adults who work hard and/or have physical issues, this bed shouldn’t be considered. I’m considering returning it but I have no idea how to return a purchase, much less a mattress, bought from Amazon. ... show more
